Hope to hear from you all again, this express cut is not the real and final music video, but i would like to know what you think...

NOTE: THE LYPSINC looks unsync, but in a NTSC monitor looks great.

It was shot with cineframe 24

Thank u

Hi Carlos
When watching the (good) video "Basse", I wonder how was your workflow with 25p to get a (I gess) ntsc colour edited final product?
What was your master for that video, DV ntsc, Digital Betacam?
How "filmic" was the edited master?
My questions are relevant because I`m considering to purchase the Z1U instead of HVX200, but my concern is how dificult is to get filmlike stuff from 25p or deinterlaced 50i, both converted to 24p and rendered to ntsc DV, or any of HD format. I edit with Vegas.

Ron

Well, I shot at 25, then i edited all in a 25p PAL time line, finally in affter effects made the color corrections, and of course, i dropped my PAL 25 final version from Final Cut to the new composition as NTSC. Thatīs mainly what i did.

Well i can't tell you right now because I haven't work with that camera (HVX200) but when you work with 25p you get a really filmmic appeareance.. Why? because real film is 24 fps. Then, when you converted to NTSC, you can eaither convert your 25p PAL direct to NTSC, or you can export it and make a change in the FPS to 24p, then you add the cine pulldown.

By the way, all that things you asked, i also asked my self before, but I still have my doubts, one thing that I can say is that 25p on HVR-Z1 can do a very good filmmic appeareance, and you keep working with High Definition material.

In the post above me you mention using the cineframe 25 on the camera but your oringal post you say you used cineframe 24? People say that cineframe 24 looks terrible but that looks fine! Are you sure this was the cineframe 24 mode on the z1u?

Wow... I'm impressed... Considering that it is a file uploaded for the Internet. I wonder what the actual footage looks without all those artifacts that all Net vids come with.

I do Have one question... How on earth do you create those Green Screen effects.... The best I've done was shoot a lava lamp in closeup etc... But I've never known where or how you get those digitally created effects...

I'd love to know how its done...

I'm having a Spice Girls flashback! LOL_ Aside from being blown out in several places, it wasn't bad. I am kind of confused though, because they are Russian, singing in Spanish?

Lol... First I will answer this...
They are russians, but they are starting their carreer in Mexico, that video was shot in Spanish and Russian. But i have only publish a "previous Cut" of all the images, I will post how I am going with that video...

Well the CF 25 was the Basse video that can be found on the other trhead, the russian girls was entirely shot on CINEFRAME 24 NTSC, so you can actually shoot as CF24 or Raw witout any cinema effect, but this time i decide for Cinemframe 24.

The link thing is beacause I think you may not have the quicktime plug in and then windows media tries to open it. May be you got to check your internet plug ins.

This is cool... much better than the last one you posted.

Sorry Leo, I didn't anser your question, those effects are part of a collection, like art beats, and all others, you can buy them online.

But sometimes, i do the.. like for example, the backgrounds in the last posted video.
