I use an Avid Mojo at work. I'm quite comfortable using there color correction scheme.
Typically, I use the curves chart. I will tweek the Red's toward the top of the histogram and tweek the highlights toward the top too. This will usually "pop" the footage. I've found that the skin tones look more natural and so do the highlights.
Now my question. I use FCP at home and have found that the color correction scheme is completely different. It seems that I can't use the curves palette in FCP like I can in Avid.
Have I missed this some how?? What would be the best way to use curves in FCP?
Thanks.
