Hello
Searching for a new camera I`m now considering the Sony Z1U, but a good part of my work may have to be finished for a DV 24p ntsc (inserting 2-3 pulldown) on a DV tape. Suppose I opt for shooting 50i - the recommended best resulting picture quality for 24p. If I deinterlace the 50i to 25p and try to extract a 24p from it, this 24p file remains a PAL signal and have to be converted internally to ntsc or in 24p it doesn`t have a colour system?
I edit with Vegas 5.0c.
Sorry if it is a stupid question.
Thank you.

The best way, using the Z1, to get 24P as I've heard is 50i -> 25P -> 24P. What you do is shoot 50i, deinterlace to 25p and then slow the footage down 4% to 24P. You're not doing any interpolation, you're just telling the software to play the 25 frames per second at 24 frames per second. You'll also have to slow down your audio the requisite 4%.

Thank you Matthew
But "this 24p file remains a PAL signal and have to be converted internally to ntsc or in 24p it doesn`t have a colour system?"

The sony Z1 camera doesn't do real 24p. If that is your main mode of shooting, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
