Hi all,
After upgrading to FCP5 I noticed that audio on footage recorded on the XL2 has been 2 frames before picture after capture through firewire (DSR-30). Trawled the web for a solution but to no avail. By chance found in the extras folder on the FCP5 installation disc a tool called the Panasonic DVX100 audio sync tool. This solved the problem. It seems that this was a problem with the DVX100 but not the DVX100A! But has now been passed on to the XL2!!!
Thought that I would share this because 2 frames out of sync is just enough to drive you mad.
Long live the boards!
Regards,
Martin
