CONDITION- I have shot less than three minutes of footage with this camera. It was purchased last month for one project as a back-up but I never used it! Might as well be new in the box! EVERY accessory is included (in original packaging) as well as the warranty.
WHY SELL?- I own two of these cameras and found that there is no need for the second.
I have shot over twenty hours of footage on my other A1 and the quality is AWESOME!
If you have any questions shoot me an email.

Michael Nistler October 24th, 2007, 09:19 PM Yes, that would, in fact, be the "thingy" in question.
Hi Vence,
Nice pix on your website. For those interested (I don't need a 3rd XL-2), you may wish to say if you'll include the XL-2 manual and whether or not the sticker with your company name is removeable (over the Mini-DV door)
Good luck Michael
Vence Vida October 24th, 2007, 09:57 PM The manual is included and I always try to remember to remove the ID stickers before I ship anything,. I would be surprised if that would be a deal breaker, but just in case - they do come off, no problem.
Patrick Moreau October 24th, 2007, 10:30 PM Part numbers make it sound like a Canon

Gary Siu October 25th, 2007, 05:54 AM Hi Doug, I was thinking of getting this monitor for SD work (and maybe later HD?) I had the earlier Marshall, but wasn't too happy with it. Is this 1.2 mega-pixel one that much better? Thanks
Trish Kerr October 25th, 2007, 07:04 AM i would assume a canon A1
Chris Hurd October 25th, 2007, 07:06 AM Thread title changed from "A1 For Sale -- Mint" to "Canon XH A1 For Sale -- Mint"
Doug Tessler October 25th, 2007, 07:54 AM Yes its quite sharp even in SD mode . Great for critical focus
Mark Von Lanken October 25th, 2007, 07:55 AM The camera sold on ebay for more than the price that I listed on several video forums. I'm not an ebay expert by any means, but for those of you who have not had success at selling of video boards, give ebay a try.
I listed the camera's starting price at $100 with no minimum. I set the auction to end on a Sunday afternoon. By setting the starting bid low, it caused several people to watch the bid process. The camera sold for $2700. There were several other DSR-250's for sale at the same time. Some with less hours, some with more. They all had a starting price of $2300-2900. There was little to no bids on those cameras.
Matthew Klos October 25th, 2007, 11:53 AM Mark,
Thanks for sharing this info.I currently have my vx-2000 listed on this site (which by the way I prefer after hearing all the horror stories about e-bay) but it just may be worth a second look. Thanks again, Matt.

Keith Kline October 25th, 2007, 06:13 PM I'm finally looking to upgrade from some crappy lighting gear I've been using. Instead of buy some of the cheaper off brand lights that last a shoot or two then fall apart (all I can afford right now), I'd like to find some older better built lights that might need some TLC. Looking for any brand of continuous focusable lights ideally with fresnel, but would also consider open faces. Would love to find a couple of used Moles or something similar that work, but might not be too pretty. Mostly looking in the 500 to 1000 watt range, but would consider anything up to maybe 2k. As long as they can be spotted/flooded or controlled with barn doors... and are pretty cheap, then I'm interested. I'm in Ohio so more than likely would involve shipping. Also would like to get some used c stands as well, although I know shipping those won't be cheap. Please let me know if you might have any old light taking up space.
Heath Taylor October 25th, 2007, 07:19 PM Selling a brand new in box Sony DSC-T100. $299
Colour: Silver
8.0 mega pixels
- Comes with a Lowepro Rezo 15 case.
Warranty still valid until April 2008 - I have the receipt and will be given to buyer.
Reason for selling:
First note this is brand new. It has not even been turned on. It still has tags and stickers. This was a brand new replacement that I just received today. I purchased my original DSC-T100 in April 2007, however I dropped it when I was at the park with my daughter. Thankfully I was able to get a new replacement, but I had since decided to buy a new camera so I do not need both.
Doug Tessler October 25th, 2007, 07:29 PM B& H is offering it and a rebate for only 2600

Nate Weaver October 25th, 2007, 08:11 PM It's still not a bad deal.
I've yet to see a BH1700 for less than $2200 used, they're kind of a in-demand commodity these days.
Mark Viducich October 25th, 2007, 08:26 PM i understand that but you forgot to note that the hood battery adapter and stand sell for over $400
Ash Greyson October 25th, 2007, 09:30 PM Checking ebay for latest prices, seems the DV2000 needs to be at $900 shipped.
ash =o)
Heath Taylor October 25th, 2007, 09:56 PM Camera has been SOLD
Alan Ortiz October 25th, 2007, 10:20 PM $3550 shipped...
Alex Sprinkle October 26th, 2007, 01:13 AM guys that's a good deal ...
Sean Adair October 26th, 2007, 07:31 AM Hi Keith,
I have 5 (or so) small fresnel heads I'm ready to part with. These are inky or pepper sized theatrical units made by "Times Square". They use 150/200 watt bayonet bulbs the same as those lights. They are compact, but run hot, and are a little finicky to spot flood (loosen tighten knurled knob in slot which gets hot...).
They are at various stages of condition/modification. The one I used for years before I got an Arri kit has a long heavy grounded cord with an inline dimmer for a switch, barndoors, stand mount and bulb. A few are as I got them, with a yoke but no stand socket, missing doors, short cable with unconventional plug, and sans bulb.
These may not be what you were hoping for, but they are solid compact units with desirable focusing ability. Handy hairlight, skimmers, highlighters that go a long way with modern video cameras. Say $15 for a barebones unit, $75 for the one thats kitted out, and a nice package deal if you want the whole kit (I'll have to itemize what I have). I can take pics of them too if you want.
Christopher Witz October 26th, 2007, 07:40 AM all items sold.... thanks!
Jason Robinson October 26th, 2007, 10:47 AM I cannot send a PM but would you mind emailing me pictures of this very nice sounding setup? info@idahodigitalproductions.com. Thank you.
Jason Robinson October 26th, 2007, 10:50 AM guys that's a good deal ...
If I didn't have my heart set on a PD170 I would be jumping all over this.....
Kit Hannah October 26th, 2007, 11:00 AM Still for sale, will consider reasonable offers.
Thx
Kit
Seth Bloombaum October 26th, 2007, 11:04 AM I have a 3-light kit made of teeny-weeny moles/barndoors/stands that has seen a couple of decades and shows it cosmetically. Everything is functional, there are some extras (an on-camera light plus some other stuff), and it's in a hard case with wheels. These are perhaps 500w open faces, comparable to Lowel Omni (but much sturdier). They do have a spot/flood focus control.
I paid $800 plus shipping about 4 years ago... but perhaps overpaid and would let it go for much less. What is your budget? If this sounds like something you're interested in please PM me and I'll send some pictures and do a real inventory of what's in it (haven't opened the case this year!)
One thing that I liked about this kit is that it's fairly lightweight - you could check it on an airline with a couple stingers stuffed in and not pay overbaggage charges.
