Matthew,
I sent this post to a guy who is looking for a decent camera to shoot some hunting stuff with. I figured the VX would be right up his alley with it's great low light abilities. Don't be alarmed when a guy mails you from off list about the camera. (his name is Charlie)

I've got a Steadicam Merlin for sale at $670. This includes ground shipping (but not insurance) in the continental Unites States (I would strongly advise also getting shipping insurance). I bought this ten months ago, and it's had zero use since, it's literally been in its case the whole time. The only time that I've used it was to check that it worked, when I first bought it, originally thinking to match it to a V1U. My wife has been onto me for some time to sell it, and with property taxes arriving a few days ago, now seems like a good time.

I don't use PayPal, so it would need to be a check or wire transaction, unless you live in San Diego, in which case you're welcome to come over to check it out in person.

If interested, email me at: greg@bbefilms.com

Thanks
Greg

Both these decks are in great condition, both take full size tapes as well as miniDV and will read anything you throw at them. I am moving away from DV so need to clear these out.

The AG-DV2000 was originally about $3K and is a great mastering VTR with multiple audio options, and advanced edit controller built in (it snaps out for IR control), etc. You can read a review here:

http://www.videomaker.com/article/7531/

The AG-DV2500 is newer, more compact and has a few less options. It includes the vertical stand and remote.

Hi everyone,

I have a used Brevis 35 that has been great to me and since no one is really biting on my HD100 threads, im thinking that to make the HD100 smaller again im going to sell or trade my Brevis 35 for a letus HD100. Anyone interested?

The Brevis 35 is in good shape, with worn threads on the achromat that cause a squeaky sound when you tighten the spacer ring, and can require some effort to screw on the spacer ring. This doesnt affect the opposite end where you either screw in a step up or step down ring, or directly attach to the camera. Of course none of this matters because the spacer stays put once its on, but better to be upfront about it. It delivers awesome images and is a champ in lowlight. I have plenty of footage shot with it if anyone wants to host some footage and i can take pictures of it as well if needed.

It comes with CF1L and CF3, original pelican case with charger, a cinevate spacer ring, and 72 mm step down ring.

Paid over $1300 new.

Im looking to get $735 paypal shipped for it, or a direct trade for a Letus HD100. Shoot me an email with offers or if you're interested!

Hi folks, I am looking to purchase a very cheap vegas Pro 6 or 7 by sony software from someone. I really do not need the software, but a working legally obtained and owned serial number. In simple terms, if you are done with your Vegas software and do not use it, sell it to me. I am only going to use it to upgrade to Version 8. So, I don't want it if someone has already used it upgrade to something else, it can only be used to upgrade ONE time. I have been playing with my friends vegas 7 for over a year and love it. Now that eight is out, I want to get my own, BUT..I want to pay the upgrade price. So...PM your offers. Make it cheap enough, you will not be shipping me anything, but simply emailing me a LEGAL non-upgraded serial number for Sony Vegas Pro 7 or 6. Thanks!!

Lacie External 1TB (1000GB) Lacie Two Big eSATA II USB2.0 7200RPM

I purchased this new, but have never used it. I bought a PCI-Express to SATA II card that I will include if interested. I have a Mac Pro, and decided against keeping the Lacie external drive b/c I don't believe the SATA II card (PCI-Express) will work with a Mac Pro -- never tried it to be safe.

The main selling point (to me) about this drive (actually 2x500GB drives), is that you can RAID0, or RAID1 them.... and with a SATA connection, it will easily support HDV editing. Note: for MacBook Pro users, they make a ExpressCard34 SATA device (for about $40)... which should work fine.

BTW -- the drives are hot-swappable; you can probably upgrade drives to 750GB or 1TB each for a larger external RAID device.

$375+PP+actual shipping

From Lacie:
"Providing a massive amount of storage capacity in a compact 2-disk device, the Two Big eSATA & USB comes with the fastest interface eSATA (SATA II 3Gbits) and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 for connecting to almost any computer. Simplified controls, including a RAID selection switch, make it easy to set up and use. Choose the storage policy that matches your needs,Fast (RAID 0), Safe (RAID 1), Big (concatenation) or JBOD (independent disks). Windows and Mac compatible, it's designed for anyone working with audio/video editing, web servers, databases, graphic design and more. It's ideal for video editors who want to protect big files with RAID security and need the fast speed of SATA II."

Product Specifications:
Product Name 1TB Two Big eSATA II USB2.0 7200RPM
Dimensions 3" Height x 5" Width x 9.6" Depth
Ports 1x4-pin Type B USB 2.0 - USB
1 x 7-pin Serial ATA-300 - external Serial ATA
Hard Drive 2 x 500GB Serial ATA Hot-swappable
Controller 1 x Serial ATA/300 RAID Controller
Expansion Bays (2 Total / 2 Populated)
RAID Levels 0, 1, JBOD
Storage Capacity 1TB Installed/1TB Maximum
Rotational Speed 7200 rpm
Buffer 16MB

Hi,

I have a brand new HVX200 that a business partner acquired for our production company. Well, after deciding to invest and preorder 2 Sony XDCam EX's, we have decided to sell this HVX200. The thing is we never really used it for anything, only shooting 4 minutes of P2 footage to compare it with my Canon XL-H1.

So the camera is essentially new, not a scratch. It has never seen a day of production.

We're looking to sell it for $4700. It will come with all the original items and accessories. Let me know if interested.

Will this work with an AT 4073 short shotgun. From the looks of it, I think it will fit. What say you?

I don't believe the SATA II card (PCI-Express) will work with a Mac Pro -- never tried it to be safe.

Why not call LaCie and ask them? Why spend the money on something and never even try it? It will tell you if it doesn't work, and the manufacturers can tell you for sure and give you any updates you may need.

This seems like a waste of money on your part for no real reason.

I would research it and hang onto your investment. :)
