The reason I am selling is because this camera is just too big for my needs. This is the third time I have tried to settle with this model, I love it and its features but it is just too much camera for me and my family videos.

I will be using a Sony HC1 instead.

I am likely going to be buying a new Sound Devices Mix Pre in the next few days, but I figured I would post here to see if someone might have one they have outgrown and are no longer using. If you have a different make high quality field mixer for sale I may also consider that too.

Bill, I have a VX2000 that I am wanting to sell. Would you be interested in that? As far as I know, the only noticeable differences are (besides cosmetics) somewhat poorer sound quality and a TAD less low-light sensitivity in the VX2000, but it should intercut NP with your VX2100's. If you're interested, give me an offer - I'll let you have it for a good price.

It is in excellent condition. Basically like new. The camera comes with original box and all papers and accessories.

I have a 40G FS-4 Pro Unit for sale with the unit's basic accessories: 4-pin to 6-pin Fiewwire cable, belt clip, power supply and 90 minute battery.

In addition I also have a Focus Enhancements 3hr battery to go along with the unit. Providing 4.5 hours of use with the two batteries.

This FS-4 Unit is in perfect working shape and has had no problems. There are some minor surface scratches on the case from use, but none on the LCD porition. This does not have the HD upgrade. NTSC unit.

David - thanks for the question. I'm assuming you're referring to the gimbal? This one includes the standard gimble that ships with all Merlins. The metal gimbal I think you're referring to is sold by Tiffen as part of the arm/vest/gimbal upgrade package for $1995. The Tiffen site has all the info:
