$1400

Selling a stock XL1s. Comes with original box and items, plus one BP-930 battery.

The lens needs a back focus so I've taken $250 off the price.

Camera condition is a 8.5. Well taken care of for the life of the camera.

I purchased the camera last year and used it often enough that I didn't have time to send it in for the backfocus. Camera creates excellent images, everything on the camera is working properly. Glass is clean all around.

I'm tranistioning to HDV so the unit needs to move this winter.

Shipping included in the U.S. International pays whatever the rate is for the shipping.

Email me or post if you have any questions. I'll respond in a timely manner.

Alright - I need to sell this in the next couple weeks to afford to switch cameras, so here's the best deal I can make before sending it all to Epay.

XL-H1 w/standard accessories plus Pelican 1620 case, extra long life battery and fresh HDV tape. - $6000

Buyer of XL-H1 can also purchase any of the following (prices only if purchased with XL-H1 as I don't want to sell the accessories before the camera):
Canon FU-1000 - B&W viewfinder - works w/XL1s, Xl2, XL-H1 - far easier focus for XL-H1 - $650

Canon 16X manual lens - works perfect - glass is in excellent condition. $650

Buyer to pay shipping and any Paypal fees. So for $7300 + shipping - you get an XL-H1 with warranty and awesome travel case, the B&W VF, AND the 16 manual lens!

Dude, that is an insane deal. I so wish you had been selling this 8 weeks ago.

Altogether I paid 2K more than that for a used one with a 16x manual lens and no bag. And I thought that was a good deal. I wish you the best and if I wasn't so in debt I'd snag it for a second camera.

Good luck!

Well, I am looking for a second camera. I would like to get a VX2000, but I am sure if I should spend so much on a second camera. A used VX1000, although may be a bigger risk, is cheaper on Ebay.

Does someone have a suggestion as to what I should get? I am all ears.

Eugene Kim
January 22nd, 2007, 07:21 PM
Man, I know, I've bought from Mathew Wilson before; and he is more than legit. This IS an insane deal...arghh, if only I had sold my equipment earlier or this were two weeks later and I might well have jumped all over this.

Remember folks...where there is debt, there is a way. Make it happen, you won't regret it. Call your relatives, ask for a loaner, promise to wash their car on the weekends, don't let this deal get away!

Upgrading to the Macbook Pro so this has to go. It is in very good condition and LOADED. There is a TINY ding next to the Apple that lights up, I tried to get a pic but it wont show up in a pic, the light has to hit it right for you to even see it. The power adapter (where it attaches to the computer) also has a small crack in it, I just noticed it today so it is obviously not a prob. Here are the specs.

- Apple G4 Powerbook 1.5ghz 15" w/ original software/paperwork/etc. running the latest version of OSX, the screen is BRAND NEW and perfect, replaced by Apple Care in the last couple months, this is the version with the backlit keyboad FYI

- Apple Care until 2/2008, one full year left!

- 8X Superdrive (burns DVDs and CDs)

- 80GB 5400rpm drive

- 2GB DDR ram

- Airport Extreme Card

- Bluetooth

- ATI video card with 64mb vram

- extra battery

I will leave the current software installed but ONLY the original Apple CDs are included! This should not be considered in the value of the package and is there for evaluation only. Currently installed are: FCP 5.1.2, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Toast, et alia

This is in MINT condition, original box and everything that came with it. I have 2 of them and this one never went out into the field, it will do image flip for 35mm adapters and takes a variety of inputs including FIREWIRE. It is VERY rugged, made of steal. First $450 shipped takes it, retail is over $1100.

Specs here:

where there is debt, there is a way.

More like "where there is debt, one must eventually pay".
Would be nice.........if I didn't have to actually pay the CC bill.

Anyone wanting to loan me some money at 0% interest? Or better yet, anyone have a 1-day shooting job that pays $7300?

This would be a fantastic monitor if the resolution wasn't so low...480x234... :(

Ash Greyson
January 23rd, 2007, 02:00 PM
It will work great with the Brevis but I only recommend it for SD work. As noted the resolution is fine for SD but not for HD. The Marshall monitor that everyone likes for HD is only 480 lines.

I have a need for a bigger camera bag. I have a KATA Va-103 for sale. It is in great shape! It has a peal back top to expose the whole inside. It has several zipper compartments and interior compartments. Not sure how much they are going for, but I will accept reasonable offers.

FYI. My Gl2 fit GREAT inside this bag!

Unit has been sold. As far as HD monitoring, I have the Marshall and while it is made very well, I still find it marginal for focus and overpriced. After testing it out recently I am moving to DV Rack HD 2 and a Dell 700m. You can pick both those up for cheaper than the Marshall and you have TRUE HD monitoring plus an HDD recorder, P2 Store (with P2 Genie), etc. There are some pretty crafty stands and mounts for laptops now and with current TRUE HD monitors at $3k and up...this new solution seems like a no brainer, I am stunned more people dont go this route.

I bought this fron Lcdvideo, and I don't like the way I have to set it up, and my tripod doesn't seem to like to carry all the equipment much, so I'm selling it off, or willing to trade for something I need.

http://lcd4video.com/

Comes exactly with everything I got it with, its still brand new, plastic not even taken off of the screen, I'll guarantee it.

I'm asking $160 Shipped, first come, first get.

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to part ways with my Canon GL2. I simply don't use it enough to justify hanging on to it.

Camera is four years old with about 40 hours of usage, I've only ever run Fuji stock through it. It is in perfect working condition and I am the original owner.

Camera comes with original box, manuals, and all original accessories (remote, charger, battery, adaptor, memory stick, cables...etc.)

I also have a Century Optics .55X (0DS-55W A-58) wide angle reversible lens that I'll throw in. This is a really nice piece of glass and was fairly expensive. I have a pair of maH 3700 batteries (generic brand) that I'll throw in as well.

$1500, includes insured shipping to anywhere in the lower 48.

I just bought my second Z1U and received the HandsOn HDV, which I already had and Vegas 6, which I don't use. So I am selling these.

HandsOn HDV - $50 shipped obo
Vegas 6 - $75 shipped obo

Vegas 6 just comes in a paper sleeve, no box or paper work. It is sealed with the serial number on the front.

Let me know if you have any questions or want to make an offer for both.

Thanks

For Sale:

* Sony PVM-1444QM (S/N: 200989)
I bought this in Nov 2006, two months ago, for a project. Got it calibrated by City Broadcast in Central London and is still under WARRANTY until April 2007 by the same company.

Its got a missing logo at the front and that's the only thing wrong with it - works perfectly, no burn-outs, no off colors, nothing! I wasted a lot of money trying to buy a decent monitor off ebay first, but they were all crap, or maybe I was unlucky.

Price GBP 275.00

* Philips 19" CRT Monitor
Had since it was new, about 2 years old. Other than the beige looking a little more beige-ey there's nothing wrong with it. No scratches on the screen, no burn-outs. I do a lot of design work, so this is calibrated as well.

Price GBP 30

* Canon FD 50mm Lens f1.8
Excellent condition, no scratches, smooth rings. Perfect for the 35mm adapters, tested and tried lens.

Price GBP 20

I also have a 14" inch computer CRT monitor, brand new that's been sitting in the box for almost 2 years. I'll throw that in with the Pro Video Monitor.

If you're interested, send me an email and I can send you pictures. You can either pick it up from East London, or for a little extra I'll lug it to any central line tube station.

HDR-HC1 "kit" includes:
Sony HDR-HC1 $1300 + everything that originally came with camera (below)
Sony wide-angle lens VCL-HG0737Y (37mm) $100
Sony 5hr battery NP-QM91D $100
All pristine condition. Less than a dozen hours taped? (if there is a way I can retrieve recorded hours used from camera menu, I will follow up post.)

Prefer to sell together. Possible part out for $1300, $110, $110.

HDV, single CMOS camera. Very small and portable. Perfect for portability; ideal for backpacking or hiking where minimal space/weight needed while capturing HDV images. This camera also takes digital still pictures on memory card. I used the camera for real estate home tours, which never got off the ground, e.g. kept indoors entirely.

Original purchaser from B&H, 10 mos ago for $1599 camera only. 90-day warranty has expired and I believe non-transferable. Essentially purchaser is getting a camera plus (extended battery and wide lens for free).

Camera standard accessories are:
RGB cable for direct hookup to television
firewire cable for capture
remote control
16mb memory card + adapter which is not needed for this camera
original battery
original packaging

Although I have no pictures, it looks like this: http://www.shentech.com/hdrhc1dh.html
