This is wandering OT, but it's probably a bad idea to use the builtin monitor on any computer if you're trying to get accurate color...

I have a Canon MA-200 for sale. It was part of a package that I purchased with my XL-1s a couple of years ago and I have never used it! I assume it works fine, but I don't have any XLR mics, so I don't need it.

$225 includes shipping by Priority Mail to the 50 US States.

I'll be happy to email pics if requested (docmaker@triad.rr.com ).

Thanks!

OK folks, I've put the projector up on eBay, since the direct sale method wasn't working out very well. If you're interested in bidding, just do a search for "Dell 2400mp", and you should find it. Hope all is well!

Working on an budget so low that it makes me depressed just thinking about it, but I need a (wired) lav mic (and possibly shotgun mic), a tripod, some stands (my lighting source is a modified pie-pan work light) and anything else you can think of.

I'm not looking for the $1000 mic that you upgraded from last year and want $400 for. I'm looking for the $150 mic that you used in film school 10 years ago and is collecting dust in the back of the closet that you want $30 for...

I understand that chances are not good that I'd be able to get anything here, but I've got to try.

Todd, I'd love to pick this up as it's sounds like a great deal.
I will be in the market for a V1U in the future.
Unfortunately the funds aren't here at the moment.
Not until October at least.

Good luck on the sale.
Someone should pick this up. Great deal.

Reluctantly, after much serious consideration, I am going to sell my XL H1. I am also selling my 16x manual lens and my 6x WA. Unfortunately my current documentary funder doesn't trust HDV and specifically requested DVCPRO HD, so I bought an HPX500 and an HVX200.

I really like this Canon equipment, which has been carefully used by an "old pro" and is in excellent condition, so I am not entertaining any offers below asking price, so please don't ask.

I had planned to keep my Canons (I already sold my A1 to my soundman) but it doesn't make sense to have my H1 sit in a case for over a year and a half - which is the time-frame on this current film.

Tomorrow or the next day I will place a formal ad in the classified section of this forum. Again, my prices and conditions will be firm, because I'm not all that anxious to sell...

We've recently finished two films with our series 400 Mini 35 and JVC GYHD101E + Kit and now regretably must sell them.

The JVC camera has;
* software upgraded 80GIG Firestore (records quicktime HDV as well as many other formats)
*2X IDX batteries 4.8Ah 1X 6.6Ah Lithium Ion, IDX plate (Value $1500+ AUD)
* all the usual accessories including extra JVC batteries (which power the mini35) Wide angle lense, Pelican Hard Case X2 (one for the JVC and one for Mini35 + accessories. Matt box plate and rails also included.

Mini35 400 series bought new and is in perfect condition, also has JVC mount which works for the new series of JVC cameras (250 + 251 etc)

Cost was over $30,000 AUD when new. Looking for a relatively quick sale and will consider any reasonable offer over $12,500 AUD (roughly 10K USD) + shipping to your location. Equipment is based in Sydney.

The footage from this camera system is awsome and sony picture in LA have just picked up one of the films this camera was used on (Gabriel)

I purchased this laptop in October of last year. I use it strictly for video editing and have had no problems running Adobe Production Studio CS2 and live capture from 2 cams via DV Rack.

The system will ship in its original box with all software and paperwork it came with. The thing works like new because it practically is. I have only used it as a backup system for editing with Premiere Pro - which I hardly ever do because I prefer Final Cut. Selling because I'm moving to Mac.

I'd sell you the following as a package:

1) Studio1 Productions 12.6' aluminum boom pole. Note, this does not have the hot shoe adapter, but instead a standard 3/8"-16 threaded male tip that I used in its place (this is the tip end that all professional boom poles and shock mounts use).

2) Shure SM-93 omnidirectional lavalier microphone. This is a hard-wired, XLR, phantom powered lavalier that is in the mid-range of lavalier microphones. It has a very natural sound to it, excellent for the human voice, and comes with a tie bar/clip mount.

3) Shure SM-58 handheld dynamic vocal microphone. Industry-standard for live-stage performances, but also can be used just fine for man-on-the-street/reporter type stuff with the caveat that the handle's on the short side. The top of the grill is slightly dented, but this isn't really noticeable on camera, and it comes with a red foam windscreen (albeit one with a dirt/spot stain).

4) 2 25' XLR microphone cables with top notch neutrik connectors.

Price:$90 for everything, shipping included.

Payment by paypal.
