I am considering upgrading from an HD100 to an HD200, possibly keeping the HD100 as a b-cam. Does anyone have a thin 200 package they are looking to sell? I'd really only be interested in the cam and a tripod/plate.

Thanks,
Jad

OK, here's a cautionary tale for you. I finally decided to stick a couple toes into the HD water by purchasing a Sony HC7. After searching on eBay for several days I placed the order with B+H. Then up popped a great deal on eBay, so I cancelled the B+H order and went for the auction. When it arrived Monday, to my surprise, it was a UX7. I had, in my haste, misread the auction.

So, here is a new HDR-UX7, purchased by a guy for his wife on May 7, 2007 from B+H (receipt will be included). She said it was too much camera for her, so he sold it on eBay to me.

I charged up the battery and formatted a DVD. Everything looks solid.

Now it can be yours, almost New In Box, plus 4 half hour DVD's, shipped (insured UPS ground to CON-USA), including PayPal, for $900.

I have a Decklink HD Extreme (PCIe) that is for sale. It is almost new ... I bought it in March for uncompressed capture for a week long shoot, but haven't used it since and it has been sitting in its box.

Still under warranty ... I am looking for $750 + shipping for the card. Let me know if interested. Thanks.

I also have the Decklink HDLink that can go with this card for a full monitoring solution as well. Let me know if you are interested in both items together.

Are these cameras by any chance PAL/NTSC switchable?

Cheers

Steven Davis

I have two of these http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-PV-GS120-MiniDV-Camcorder-Optical/dp/B0001DBEJ2

I also have a larger battery with each. I replaced these with two Sony V1u's. These cameras would be good for a deck or a back up side camera. I've produced several weddings with these. I have had them for about 3 years but they are in mint condition and have not had any problems.

The best application for these is actually to hide in a potted plant or something. They are very small.

I'm posting to see if I can get some interest. I paid 500.00 a piece for them, and some 60 bucks for the larger batteries. I have the power cables and remotes to go with them. I'd love to recoupe a decent amount of my money.

June 22nd, 2007, 10:43 AM
Yeah, I think I would definately be interested in picking one up to use as an extra side backup for a good low cost 3-chipper....depending upon what $$ you are interested in getting for them. What ballpark are you thinking about? -Jon

Steven Davis
June 22nd, 2007, 11:24 AM
From what I gather, the used price per unit is around 400 bucks. I think I would hover around that price and throw in the extra long battery.

I hate to part with them, they've been a good set. They're really good backups, if not like I said, a flower pot cam.

This is the newer DG APO version with special coatings for digital slr's (but can be used with film slr's with no problem).......paid $999 at B&H

Works as an extreme wildlife lens on Canon XL's & H1's with EF adapter!

$800 takes it.
(Superb condition and rarely used)
Paypal OK or local pickup.

Mat, to the best of my knowledge - these cameras are band specific. So you cannot switch inbetween PAL and NTSC recording. This is the NTSC model.

Sorry for the holdup with the pictures Ken, I'm working on a solution
