I am selling a JVC HD100Ua with 55 drum hours and 166 fan hours. It's in excellent shape and has always been transported in the included Pelican case. I have used it for several small projects over the last year including a short doc film that was awarded best picture for the 2007 IDC. I am looking to move into XDCAM for my next project so I thought I would see if there is someone on the boards who might be in need of a complete HDV package such as this.

hi steven i have no idea what the other camera your looking at is but 3400 for an HD 100 seems really low.
theres a local "buy and sell" website here where i live and theres constantly posts of hd 100's for 2900 and 3200 i always email them thinking that someone just may have the deal of the century i always get back the reply...
"hi there camera is available im off in the UK on trip rite now but the camera is at the safe trade warehouse or some stupid place. send me money and then ill have them send the camera."
and if you ask a few more questions you just dont get an answer.
if you have found a good deal well up to you but ive read many claims of cheap HD100's and have yet to see one live up to it. i paid 4500 canadian for mine just a month ago and i feel i got a really good deal.
