I have the box for the original camera and all of the cables

I can't seem to find the original battery... it only lasted realistically 30-40 minutes of filming but It's nice to have as a backup...
I have 3 BP-315's though, 2 last a good 90-110 minutes filming, one lasts about 60 minutes
I film for 4+ hours at a time and these last just long enough. I end up with a tiny bit of life on the last battery.

Just cleaned the camera with rubbing alcohol and q-tips, as well as the filter and everything else that was used outdoors.

Hoya filter is flawless on the glass, scuff against the writing on the side but I cleaned the glass on the filter and it's perfect, everything else has been hand cleaned..

I have not filmed a second without the filter on it, I took the filter off and put it in the box so I could take the pictures but nothing has touched the lens glass.

Just curious, does that head make motor noise that the camera can pick up? How fast does it pan?

You can adjust the speed of the pan/tilt. The noise isn't audible on the slower settings, but if you move it fast, you'll hear it slightly... I used it on my second camera that I wasn't using audio with...

I have a 10 foot crane. How long's the controller wire?

yes, ntsc but this can be modified by canon to shoot in PAL

it cost $500 in the US, and it is a firmware upgrade done at the factory. All the new HD canon XL and
XH series are upgrade-able to shoot in both NTSC and PAL format.

Most pro cam and the sony Z1 can shoot in both NTSC and PAL, there is no loss in quality whatsoever. I am sure canon UK would be able to upgrade this for you as well and maybe they have a different pricing.
