Tommy Haupfear April 26th, 2007, 07:54 PM Amos, how much are you wanting for the DV953?
Thanks,
Tommy
Tommy Haupfear April 26th, 2007, 07:55 PM Craig, did you get my email? I might be interested..
Amos Kim April 26th, 2007, 08:06 PM 400 plus shipping for dv953.
Tommy Haupfear April 26th, 2007, 09:20 PM Geez, I just saw where you posted the price in your first post. Sorry!
Thats a great price on the DV953!
Doug Lange April 26th, 2007, 09:46 PM $1450
I'm not in the ebay mood yet ;-)
Jason Chang April 26th, 2007, 10:03 PM I really need to sell this ASAP, so I will take $750. Get it before somebody else gets it.
Doug Lange April 26th, 2007, 10:07 PM I just added up my ebay fees and paypal fees if I sold it for $1500 on ebay.
I'll sell for $1400 if you don't use paypal!
Doug Lange April 26th, 2007, 10:09 PM If you are doing events such as concerts, my PD150 would be a great cam. It is the low light champ.
I just dropped my price to $1400 to avoid paypal/ebay fees. You're not going to get a batter camera at this price!
Greg Boston April 26th, 2007, 10:53 PM yea my dv 953 is a consumer 3ccd 1/4" chips with built in leica lens. It's not intended for pro use. I just need to basically "give it away" because it's just sitting in my room collecting dust. I'll throw in a small soft black carrying bag.
Amos, the 953 is a 1/6" 3 chip camera. I still own mine. But given some light, it shoots nice video and has a good solid feel in the hand.

Amos Kim April 26th, 2007, 10:58 PM thanks for the correction. yes, a very handy small camera.
Greg Boston April 26th, 2007, 10:58 PM If you want to shoot decent video, you need a camcorder with plenty of manual controls and 1/3 inch CCDs. NOT those small 1/6 inch CCD cams.
Just a warning Jason, we don't bad mouth other people's cameras here at DVINFO. I've shot plenty of 'decent video' with my 953.

Jason Chang April 26th, 2007, 11:17 PM That was thougtless of me. I apologize for that.

Greg Boston April 26th, 2007, 11:25 PM This is what the classifieds are for. I'm moving your thread over there.

DJ Kinney April 27th, 2007, 10:17 PM Thanks Michael. I will look into that cam. It isn't HD, but it could really do the job.
Ken Grohs April 27th, 2007, 10:31 PM You might have better luck if you were to sell your items seperately.
I don't know how many people would want, or need, the exact accessory package you are offeirng, but I think that several people might be looking at individual items.
Just a thought.

Jeff Mayne April 27th, 2007, 11:38 PM What are the differences between the 100 and the 200? Just the number of jacks? I just want to be able to connect a set of wireless mics to the camera, period! But I did hear however that the ma-100 had some problems with cheap manufacturing and they broke easily, is this true?

I know, problem is the only things to break off are the wireless, and the matte box, light.
I am throwing in the case, the batteries need to go with the camera, as the AB kit is pointless without it.
I am kind of frustrated with this camera situation I am in, I spent all this money for it, with hopes that shit would work out, it is not and I now have this big bill to cover. I know I am going to take a big hit as it is by selling a camera I bought in December.
So I am just trying to not take as big of a hit as possible.
At this point, I just want something small like a Z1U, or V1u to use for recording baby's first steps, first this, first that, etc, and have a camera good enough that if I get a call to shoot a wedding, I can.
Jeff Harper April 28th, 2007, 08:11 AM Look forward to receiving the cam, Doug.
Jeff Emery April 28th, 2007, 08:54 AM My vx2100 has been sold. Thanks to all for looking in.
Good Luck George
Jeff

DJ Kinney April 28th, 2007, 09:48 PM I just wanted to bump this up. Time is short and if anyone is looking to sell, it'd be great.
Thanks,
DJ
Nick Hiltgen April 28th, 2007, 11:19 PM How small are you looking for? What price range are you looking at?
Charles Papert April 28th, 2007, 11:31 PM Are you still looking?
Chris Barcellos April 29th, 2007, 12:23 AM DJ:
If you are looking for a decent HDV camera, and a lot of user control, you need to look at the Canon HV10, or step further to the HV20 with 24p. There probably won't be a lot of used ones out there, but the HV10 is going for around $900.00 and the new HV20 for $1,100, probably no higher than someone will sell their other HDV cams for used.
Dave Blackhurst April 29th, 2007, 12:26 AM Any interest in a barely used Sony HC1? Fairly compact, good video quality. I've got a couple available - with good accessory packages so you don't have to dig up all the extras - email me if this cam is of interest - questions welcome!

Francois Poitras April 29th, 2007, 12:25 PM I am selling my Audio Technica AT897 shotgun microphone. Why? Simply because I don’t use it. It has seen very little action and it is in mint condition.
It comes with the mic’s original windscreen, Audio Technica box (also in mint condition), and an Audio Technica clip and adapter. I am also including a homemade fur windscreen (greenish synthetic fur).
No cable included.
I would like to get US $235 for it.
Pics on demand. If you need more information, email me at poet at videotron.ca.
