I accidentally tripped and stepped on my tripod the other day, snapping one side of the metal piece connecting the leg to the head fo the tripod. It still functions...kinda. I've taken it apart, drilled it and put a metal rod down the center, and it broke with normal use. I also contacted the manfrotto parts dept, and they do not make or have any of the parts for this tripod in stock any longer. I'm wondering if anyone on here may have this piece, or the same old busted tripod that they would be willing to part with. Here is a diagram:

Just a suggestion but you might want to lower your price a to attract a buyer. BH sells a new one for $2995. I sold mine 4 months ago for $2400, and felt that I got all the money. And with the A1 down to about $3259, I'd be pricing the XL2 to sell quick.

Have you found a 3CCD setup yet? I have a Sony VX1000 with Century Precision Optics 16x9 (Anamophic) lens. You can shoot true 16x9 footage with this baby. I will part with the VX1000 for only $650. If you want to shoot wide screen, then I will throw in the lens for $250.

Selling new, never used Black Magic Intensity PCI Express card with software. This allows you to output HDV through your cameras HDMI port directly to your computer. If you are editing the new AVCHD format, you can bypass that codec and upload the footage to your computer.

I bought this to output HDV to my computer, but alas, my computer only has PCI, not the newer PCI Express compatibility. I paid $250 for it, and will sell it for $200 and pay for shipping via priority mail. Be sure your computer has one open PCI Express slot.
