Like an idiot I rushed out and bought one for my XL H1 - only it doesn't fit, its XH A1 and XH G1 and XL1 XL2s ONLY. Having shipped it from the US and paid the duty theres no easy was to send it back, so sale seems easier, not least as last time I looked they weren't in great supply anywhere in the UK.

Soooo. its two weeks old, totally unused and comes with its original purchase reciept, all boxes and bits and bobs, is duty paid and available for £295.

Contact me on 07973 624420 or simon@sixpixel.com

Pick up can be either London or Cambridge.

Hi - I'm interested in buying a secondhand camera as above (UK only). Drop me a line if you have something that fits the bill!

Sorry to hijack this a bit but why doesn't it fit the H1? If it fits the XL1 and XL2 and is 72mm what exactly is stopping it form working? I am interested in this unit and making it work with an H1 nut cannot discern exactly why it will not fit. I have an extender from Century optics that goes on the H1 lens to allow the Century adapter. It looks like it is simply a 72mm shim that moves the adapter slightly away from the lens.

Also, can you verify if this fits on the 16x manual lens by any chance?

Thanks!

Man, this is really beyond my comprehension. I would kill for a tripod this good at this price. If I was in the US I would buy it in heart beat.

Theres an un-threaded section on the adapter before the thread starts, the thread on the XL H1 lens isn't deep enough for it to reach to the threaded section. Canon have gone ot of there way to make sure you can't use it on an XL H1, as if you had the un-threaded bit milled off (which I did look into) there would be so little thread left the two lens elements would clash. Drop me a mail and I'll fire over a picture, I can't see how to post one here.

No problem over the hijack as it totally explains how I ended up owning one in the first place - didn't think I needed to read past the bit that said "72mm thread fitting"

Hi,

I'm interested in what model they are.

Are they all the same model?

Are they UHF or VHF....I'm guessing VHF, right?

What receiver were you using them with or would I need to buy?

Thanks,

John Reilly

They are all the same exact Azden mics... I was using them with iRivers.

My understanding is that they work well with any wireless system that requires lavelier mics.

The exact model description is the one in the subject line.

Thanks.

Hello,
We're in the process of selling a bunch of stuff to fund our first feature length doc. Among the stuff are a couple of nice Sony 3ccd camcorders.

VX2100 kit includes the camera (very low miles, excellent condition), and some other nice bits including a hard case and Fry's extended warranty with documentation. $1600

DSR-PD100A kit includes a great little camera and a good Azden shotgun mic with mount, XLR adapter, batteries, wide lens and cheap fisheye. $1200.

Have a look at the items (plus some other stuff we're selling) here:

http://homepage.mac.com/scott.squire/GearSelloff/PhotoAlbum95.html

Word to the wise: this is my first post here, but I have been a quiet lurker for a while, and I have a lot of positive feedback as a seller on photo.net (as Scott Squire), on fredmiranda.com as NonFiction, and on ebay as swissarmybike.

The gear is in Seattle. Please feel free to email with questions.

Thanks for looking!

Hey all,
Have the following barely used microphones. Actually the SM7 was only used once and the wireless for two assignments. These items will ship from Abilene, TX not Thailand as my profile says. I work in Thailand, but my home church is at Abilene. These WILL NOT be shipping internationally.

Rode VideoMic 125 OBO Also with 10ft chord and windscreen "Dead Cat"
This is a great mic if you're camera only allows 1/8 plug instead of the big ones. Great shotgun mic.

Shure SM7B - 325 OBO
Fantastic Voice Over Microphone. Also mic used to record Red Hot Chili Peppers and other big bands...MJ's Thriller as well

Sennheiser EW 100 G2 Wireless Mics - 450 OBO
These are great wireless mics for micing the groom, party, etc. These are model C frequency range 740-776 MHZ.

Also have a MAudio Firewire Solo - 115
This is missing the software demos that come with it, but otherwise a great 2 microphone interface for a mac or pc. You can google the unit and get the tech specs as there are a lot.

I barely use it and can't justify letting it sit around here. It is the aluminum model, with the brighter keys and screen - M9831LL/A. It has a few light scratches, but is basically flawless. 100GB HD, 1GB RAM, Superdrive, Airport, OS X and comes with all original accessories, including the box. It has eighteen months of Applecare left, through September 16, 2008. $1100 OBO + shipping.

I have it installed now, but I honestly have not used it (or the computer) much. I can't really give an account of how the program performs in various situations, other than to say that it more than meets the minimum requirements for FCP 5.

Just FYI, this item is sold.

I received the package today and let me tell you this whole setup is 100% LNIB. I was very pleased with the whole transaction. Gilbert had emailed me a tracking number for this shipment just a few hours after I sent the payment. The next day, he called me to tell me he forgot that he had lost the shoulder strap (which was the only thing missing) and had already ordered another and had it sent to my address.

The bottom line is it was sure nice to deal with someone from this forum and not really have anything to worry about. Thanks to Gilbert and also DVinfo.net for such a nice buying experience. This camera will work well for me in a backup role to my XL2.

Oh, Gilbert, there was a tape in the camera. Shoot me your address and I'll mail it back to you.

With much regret, I am putting up for sale my set of Canon FD/FL lenses. I had spent quite a bit of time collecting these over the past 6 months in preparation for a shoot with the Letus35, but it turned out they were not needed, so I never actually used them. They've all been checked and function very well. I also just spent $50 to have the 28mm f/2 serviced because of some oil on its blades. All lenses now have smooth focus and snappy iris. Glass is clean and clear.

Lenses:

1) Canon FD 28mm f2
2) Canon FD 50mm f1.8
3) Canon FD 85mm f1.8
4) Canon FL 135mm f2.5

Price: $400 USD + shipping. Not a bad deal considering I think the 28 and the 85 can probably go for that much on eBay. I'll try to sell this as a set for a couple of weeks before considering individual offers. Thanks for looking.

Sorry Patrick, I've been far too busy to drive out of city with a glidecam show and tell. I tried that once, only it turned out to be a demo for some guy that wasn't sure if he wanted to get into stabilizing. It was sadly, a big waste of my time and fuel. This sale is really for someone that knows s/he wants a V-16, or a platform to upgrade to a 20. It works, it's clean, it's barely used.

So if anyone is looking for a GlideCam unit with all the options, drop me an offer. It's boxed and ready to ship. Willing to take the above in CDN dollars as well.

I am selling a Like-New Manfrotto 529B 100mm High Hat. I purchased it for a specific job, which ended up falling througt. So I have no need for it now. The high hat is in perfect condition, and shows no signs of use. It has never been nailed or screwed down.

I am asking $125, which includes FedEx Ground and PayPal fees. I would prefer payment via PayPal.

Feel free to contact me with questions.
