Songwriters and musicians can use the combination XLR-1/4-inch high-impedance phone inputs for vocals, guitars, bass or keyboards. Also onboard are Zoom’s most incredible guitar and bass amplifier modeling effects. These effects accurately reproduce the sounds of the most famous guitar amps ever made.
And by-the-way, it’s also an Audio Interface
Recording directly to your computer has never been easier than with the Zoom H4 Handy Recorder. The H4 is the only portable digital recorder that also serves as your USB audio interface, allowing direct recording of instruments and vocals to your computer. And, if you don’t already have a DAW, that’s okay because every H4 comes bundled with Cubase LE, the perfect 48-Track Digital Audio Workstation for easy editing, mixing and mastering of your recordings on either Windows or Mac.
Together, these features make the Zoom H4 Handy Digital Recorder the most versatile portable recording device ever offered.
Patrick Moreau March 6th, 2007, 08:29 PM Can you let us know what you think of the device? How well does it handle auto levels? Comparision to an iriver or Sennheiser wireless?

Jad Meouchy March 6th, 2007, 08:42 PM I've got a lot of XL2 stuff for sale, but since there weren't any bites on the accessories or big package lot, I'm wondering if someone is interested in only the body?
Excellent condition, ~60hr of same brand tape.
Located in Washington DC area
Philip Gioja March 6th, 2007, 10:42 PM Hmm... I put together a set of legs and a head because I've been planning to get a second camera, but it looks like it might take me longer to get that together than I had planned, so I might be willing to sell. It's not the best bargain in the world, but at the right price I'll let it go.
I have a new 501 head - used once for a wedding shoot. I might still have the box, not sure. It's on a set of used 3046 bogen legs. I think the new 3046 legs is three stage, but this is the original two stage. One leg had some damage at one point (before I got it) and has been repaired very well. It is not ball-leveling - you have to level it by moving the legs. There is a cranking center column.
I'm willing to sell it for $315 (not including shipping). That's less than you could do at BH (looks like $380 + shipping for brand new set), but probably not the best deal you can find. You'd be responsible to set up a FedEx or UPS pickup at my office, that way I don't have to worry about customs fees charging back to my account.
If you would like photos, let me know and I'll send you some.
William Osorio March 7th, 2007, 12:14 AM Any takers???
Brent Graham March 7th, 2007, 12:52 AM I have a mint, and I mean absolutely mint Glidecam 2000pro.
Problem is that I'm hearing it's a lot easier to balance my Canon camera on a 4000pro.
I am willing to trade, mine for yours, plus $75 paypal. Each of us pays for our own shipping.
My 2000pro is mint, I'd really like an mint 4000pro.
All the weights, manual, everything. I'd hope your's has the same.
Thanks, I'm really counting on this.
Rafael Lopes March 7th, 2007, 01:31 AM - Flycam 5000 with arm support
- Nvidia Quadro FX560 Pro video Edition
I bought both these items for project that ended up not happening and now I'm stuck with it without ever having used it (I tried the fx560). I'm looking for someone who would be willing to trade ONE of these items for a 35mm adapter, a nikon d50, or (here it comes) a resonator guitar. I expect all the items offered to trade to be in perfect working condition.
I would also be willing to sell them, but since they were never used, and they are new, in their boxes, I would not make a big discount from the original prices.
As for a trade, I'm only willing to trade with well established respected members of the forum that have been here for a while.
Anyone interested may pm/email me.
Guy Bruner March 7th, 2007, 06:41 AM I have a Bogen 501 head mounted on a set of 4-section carbon fibre legs that I'll let go for $225US plus shipping. These are in like new condition. I accept PayPal.
Charles Workman March 7th, 2007, 06:55 AM I've adjusted my prices to expedite the sale of my equipment. I will be putting it on eBay soon if I do not sell it here.
By the way, I forgot to mention that I've only run the same brand of tape through the camera when recording. I never have used it as a tape transport. I have a separate machine for this. If you have any other questions please ask. Thank you again for your interest.

Evan C. King March 7th, 2007, 08:10 AM No chance for a seperate sale on the fx1 huh?
Evan C. King March 7th, 2007, 08:16 AM Hi all -
I'm going to be shooting a documentary in Fiji in May, and I'm trying to convince the backers to invest in an A1 for the duration of the shoot.
Would anyone be interested in the camera once I return? If I can get a decent price for it, they're much more likely to pay for the camera.
We will be doing beach shoots, but I've done them before and will take very good care of the camera. We're using a changing bag for tape reloads on the beach, and the UV filter won't leave the camera.
I figure if I knock $500 off the purchase price, someone might be willing to bite.
What do you guys say? Again, it would be available in late May or early April.
Cheers,
Ryan
I'd definetly be interested if it's the b&h price your talking about (3499.95) discounting. But like Ken said late May early April sounds weird. If it's early april about 500 off 3499.95 I'd definetly buy it if it came with a warranty. Please contact me.
Scott Hayes March 7th, 2007, 08:36 AM if anyone has one they just don't use, or are upgrading, let me
know. Thanks!
Scott
Ken Grohs March 7th, 2007, 09:01 AM I'm wondering if someone is interested in only the body?
Depends on the price............
Cesar Ruiz March 7th, 2007, 09:03 AM Hi Evan,
Make me an offer and I'll consider it.
Thanks,
Cesar
Philip Gioja March 7th, 2007, 09:18 AM I could do $290, but that's as low as I want to go - less than that and I'd rather hang onto it. Like I said -- probably not the best deal, but it's there. I also would accept paypal.
Paul Cronin March 7th, 2007, 09:45 AM Hi Jon,
Glad it worked out and I hope you get lots of great footage.
Cheers,
Paul

Scott Hayes March 7th, 2007, 10:50 AM how will this work with FCP? If I can't capture quicktime, it isn't worth
it, having to transcode everything.
Vishal Gurung March 7th, 2007, 12:06 PM I've emailed you both :)
Jared Teter March 7th, 2007, 01:24 PM If you get this update the Firestore will work seamlessly with FCP:

Cesar Ruiz March 7th, 2007, 01:37 PM I have 4 Azden microphones available. Perfect for wireless microphone use, or for use with iRiver/MP3 recorders.
One of the mics is missing its little foam head but they all work great and have been kept in great condition for the past 2 years.
$16.50 each
$13.50 for the one without a foam head.
$5 shipping (Shipping is free if you buy all 4).
Scott Hayes March 7th, 2007, 01:55 PM Jared, please email me off the forum. Thanks!!
Matt Rickman March 7th, 2007, 02:52 PM Recieved everything today.. pristine.. exactly as advertized.. Thank you!
Jad Meouchy March 7th, 2007, 02:52 PM I'm not sure of market value, but I would think 2200.
Daniel Patton March 7th, 2007, 03:11 PM Will do Jad,
But it needs to move so I can get the other new gear in.
So it's going down to $4300 takes all.
Michael Dunn March 7th, 2007, 03:27 PM Just a bump to the top of the list.
I still have the items and someone might be interested
Kyle Prohaska March 7th, 2007, 04:32 PM I doubt you'll get that much, I sold my 20hr XL2 with all included accessories for 2500 and waited months to get more but never did.
- Kyle
Jad Meouchy March 7th, 2007, 04:41 PM 2000 is more reasonable? It does have all accessories, just not the 20X lens.
Jad Meouchy March 7th, 2007, 04:55 PM edit: now looking only for AB-compatible batteries/charger
I'm looking for either an IDX or AB (AB preferred) power plate and battery/charger for an HD100. I would prefer AB since it will communicate with camera. Extra d-tap cables would be a plus. Li-Ion batteries only, no NiMH. Fancy chargers are not necessary either. Two batteries would be nice.
I've got 1000 to spend, but would prefer not to spend all of it.
Thanks
Patrick Gault March 7th, 2007, 07:19 PM Tota Speed Ring is sold
Ken Grohs March 7th, 2007, 08:50 PM Hi Daniel,
What is the magnification of the Wide Angle adapter (0.6x, 0.7x, ??)
Is it a full zoom-thru or does it vignette?
Has the camera been upgraded with the factory 100A upgrade?
Thanks!
-Ken
Jim Karrels March 7th, 2007, 10:48 PM I purchased these from a member here last summer and am now done with them. Includes 40 hours of instruction and project files on the three original DVDs (in their case).
$125 shipped
Daniel Patton March 7th, 2007, 10:56 PM The adapter is a 0.8X (not a huge gain, but it does help), it is a zoom through and from my experience with the adapter it does not vignette. It's the only option in it's price range even worth considering on the end of the stock lens, it's a quality piece of glass.
We have yet to send the camera in for the upgrade, but this can be done before we ship it. In the past I could not afford to have it gone from the studio, I guess now would be a good time. ;)
Not related to the upgrade but, I'm pretty sure the camera is even still in the one year warranty period, it's the second HD100 we received. I'll look at the paperwork in the morning and check to be sure.
Gilbert Labossiere March 7th, 2007, 11:19 PM I bought this camera on Jan 17, 2007 (a month and a half ago) and used it on only one shoot (a wedding) for about 7 hours. Sadly, I need to part with it now but it is an excellent camera. I am including the following items (also bought the week of the 17th):
1) Canon GL2 camera with 10x zoom lens and all of the accessories
2) Canon WD-58H Wide angle converter lens with lens hood
3) Blue Petrol Mini-DV camcorder bag with special 2.7" monitor hood included 4) Impact BP-945 7 hour replacement battery
5) Hoya 58 mm filter kit (UV, Circular polarizer, warming filter) and pouch
6) Canon VL-10LI on camera batter light
Pictures of the items can be seen at:

Jerry Porter March 8th, 2007, 07:59 AM I have an extra AB HD100 mount/power plate. What's it worth to you?
Chris Li March 8th, 2007, 08:17 AM http://www.vasst.com/product.aspx?id=87a7ebfc-1b8e-4b1d-8037-52e68c25064a
Rafael Lopes March 8th, 2007, 12:06 PM Ok, I already have the resonator guitar, so the trade would only be for a 35mm adapter or a nikon D50...or money ;-) .
Jad Meouchy March 8th, 2007, 04:45 PM buying an AB plate from Jerry
Thanks!
Lynne Whelden March 8th, 2007, 05:10 PM I've owned the reliable and battle-ready UM190B transmitter and UCR190 receiver for about 6 years but it's like new. No scratches or dents. The whole enchillada is included--the lapel microphone in its own plastic carry case, lectrosonics leather carry-bag for all the gear, original instruction sheets, AC power supply. Also, I'm including three custom 3' cables: one is the TA5F connector (the jack to the transmitter) to a 1/4" male plug. The second is TA5F connector to 1/4" male plug with audio pad. The third is TA5F connector to female XLR. This enables you to plug your transmitter into, say, mixing boards or to use other mics besides the supplied lapel.
I rarely used this stuff and always took the utmost care of them. Make me an offer I can't refuse. (Original price was $1400.)
Jad Meouchy March 8th, 2007, 09:03 PM This is my final thread for this stuff, I promise.

Dave Frank March 9th, 2007, 12:18 AM I am selling off a car mount kit I got at Filmtools. It's the Light Weight Universal Camera Mount for cars. You can mount your DVX or whatever camera you have(up to a 10lbs limit I believe) to the windshield, doors, hood, etc.
I actually have used it with an XL-2 and mini35 rig! That was over 13lbs I believe, although that was over the limit for sure, and not that smart looking back on it.
Looking for $300. Thanks!
I accept Paypal.

Scott Thibodeau March 9th, 2007, 12:55 PM Hi all,
I have an XL1 with a fried servo board. Everything else is fine except for a small crack in the mic mount. Lense and everything is good. Comes with remote control, strap and the carry bag. No battery though.
I also have a Manfrotto tripod and head. I'm not sure what the model number is but it's far too heavy for my use shooting travel docs. Some pics located here.
