I think my varizoom is going bad. Can pay with PayPal right away. Edited to add the zoom control. Thanks---Mike Mike Teutsch February 27th, 2007, 07:26 AM Never heard from my guy so I hope Matt has it for you. Mike Andrew Brinkhaus February 27th, 2007, 08:52 AM I was originally converting back to the DVX because of its smaller size, as compared to the XL2. I plan on shooting primarily with a 35 adapter, so I need a camera that is smaller, so when I add on the rails, FF, adapter, mattebox, etc. it evens itself out. Now I am looking into the FX1 or Z1u instead of the DVX. Patrick Moreau February 27th, 2007, 09:06 AM Thanks for trying Mike. Looks like Matt is going to save the day. Hopefully this resolves everything with the buyer and if not, I cannot see hm having any sort f case after he has received the box. Thanks again to Matt. Mike Teutsch February 27th, 2007, 09:20 AM That's great Patrick. Now if you could only find someone with a really nasty cold or flu to sneeze all over it before you send it to that idiot. :) Just kidding of course. Mike Aaron Ferguson February 27th, 2007, 10:17 AM Mike, my PayPal address is aaron at limamission.org. Thanks! Chris Luker February 27th, 2007, 10:21 AM I didn't think internationally shipped items were covered by Paypal... huh. Watch out for the chargeback on his credit card too. Paypal will take your money even if everything was legit and the buyer does a chargeback. I had this happen, you can do nothing to paypal unless you want to go through the arbitration you agreed to to have a Paypal account. 99% of the time Paypal is great, but that 1% can cost you alot (almost cost me $2000... see below). Now, when I get a Paypal payment, I transfer the money to my checking account immediately and ship when the funds are transferred. When I buy, I use a credit card in case I have a dishonest seller (happened twice). That way I can do a chargeback for fraud when (yes, I said when, not if) Paypal finds in favor of the fraudulent seller. Oh ya, and their fees suck too!!!! Whew! I feel better now. Aaron Ferguson February 27th, 2007, 10:24 AM I also sent an email requesting pics of the gl2 & the wide angle converter :-) Denny, can I have your e-mail or can you email me, aaron at limamission.org? Seems like I am not getting any e-mail sent through the forum. Thanks! Mike Teutsch February 27th, 2007, 11:01 AM Aaron, Money sent. Thanks---Mike James Bresnahan February 27th, 2007, 12:23 PM Sony HC-1 perfect working conditon. Inquiries can also be emailed to jimbresnahan@gmail.com Monte Raynor February 27th, 2007, 12:45 PM I recently purchased FCP 5.1 Studio here on this board. Therefore, I am selling my previous version of the software fro $200.00 US clams. I will also throw in my copy of Final Cut Exoress hD for Mac osx by Lisa Brennes to the buyer. Thanks, CMR Craig Bellaire February 27th, 2007, 01:03 PM Anybody got one? Jack Walker February 27th, 2007, 01:07 PM Exactly what are you looking for? The standard Sony AC adapter used with this camera? Peter Vaughn February 27th, 2007, 01:13 PM Hello everyone; I'm selling a totally refurbished, & still under warranty Casablanca KRON for $1650, or best offer. This is a stand alone system, that works with TV & PC inputs, & has a 320 G Hard Drive, as well as HDV editing capabilities. Furthermore, it has multi camera editing software, and it has its own version of Photoshop, for making cool still montages. System compares very favorably to latest edition of Sony Vegas. If interested, please emal me at pnv67@comcast.net Thanks; Peter V. Frank Ward February 27th, 2007, 01:18 PM ^ Agreed. Paypal is a good service, but I've read too many nightmare stories about how bad they are at resolving problems and refunds (if they even know the meaning of the word.) I never keep money in my Paypal account and I always pay for high dollar items through Paypal with a credit card for double coverage. I reeeeally suggest doing the same if you don't ever want to get hosed. . Craig Bellaire February 27th, 2007, 01:20 PM we lost it... It's not the same as some consumer camercorders or the PDX 10... It has a different plug on the camera side... We can charge the batteries with consumer rechargers but not power the camera... Thanks Mark Bournes February 27th, 2007, 01:38 PM Gotta agree with Frank on this one, I too only pay for items thru paypal with a CC. When selling something thru them I always withdraw the $$$ and put it in a seperate bank account not associated with paypal and keep my paypal accounts at $0. I had an issue 1 time and Paypal actually decided in my favor. The item I paid for was never shipped/received. They tried to contact the seller and got no response after a week, so I got a full refund. So there are instances where they are fair, but always better to be on the safe side. Don Bloom February 27th, 2007, 01:50 PM Craig, I'm looking at one in my office now and since my good ole 1000 died I have no real need for it. PM or email me off line and we can talk about it. The SD->HD upgrade is hard to find and is expensive. So, if anyone has an FS-4HD in any size, I'm interested. Alan Ortiz February 27th, 2007, 06:51 PM Hey Jad, Did you ever get a hold of an HD100? I have an FS-4 Pro HD 40GB and I cant imagine shooting without it. -Alan Vito DeFilippo February 27th, 2007, 08:52 PM Anybody have one of these? About a white landscape architect and a black orporate high roller) and saw your name on the creits for steadycam. I liked the cinematography. It's cool to rub cyber elbows with somebody famous. Bruce S. yarock www.yarock.com Alex Amira February 28th, 2007, 07:28 AM Is this still available. I might be interested. Mike Teutsch February 28th, 2007, 08:23 AM Going to ebay this weekend, so this is your last chance for a great little package! Mike Jad Meouchy February 28th, 2007, 09:53 AM No, not yet. B&H has an awesome deal right now on a new HD110: 4800 w/ soft case, IDX plate, IDX battery, and IDX twin charger. The best deal I can find on a comparable HD100 package (with NO warranty) is 4000. 8 years of buying grey market tells me that secondhand same model should be 15-20%, previous model 25+%, so I'm probably going to just drop 5k at B&H. After using an FS-4 with my XL2, I cannot imagine any other workflow. Daniel Lang February 28th, 2007, 11:38 AM oops here's the correct link. You'll find the light at the bottom of the page under best sellers. http://www.evsonline.com/ Charles Papert February 28th, 2007, 11:48 AM Hi Bruce, Yup, that was "Something New", didn't make much of a splash when it came out. Shane Hurlbut was the DP, I've done 3 or 4 movies with him, he's great (he also did "We are Marshall" last year, which I didn't operate on). Ken Grohs February 28th, 2007, 01:09 PM Here's the correct link directly to the item.... http://www.evsonline.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=1001 Alan Ortiz February 28th, 2007, 01:11 PM Really? I didnt see that price for the HD110 on there. It looked like 1000 dollars more than that. Do you have the link? Richard Bender February 28th, 2007, 01:11 PM sent you an e-mail. |
