Chris Hurd February 22nd, 2007, 11:43 AM The main thing I want to avoid here is a short-term listing that goes immediately to Ebay after only 72 hours in this forum. It's almost as if we're simply being used as a pointer to Ebay. That's not fair to us. Nor is it fair to Ebay, because an item can't be for sale elsewhere at the same time that it's offered for auction on Ebay.
I think what we're going to do with these short-run ads is to simply withdraw them from public view once they've been announced as going to Ebay.
The other alternative is to start charging a fee for listing for-sale items here. In fact that might be a better way to go. Looking into a number of options,
Marty Hudzik February 22nd, 2007, 11:51 AM This lens originally belonged to Marty Hudzik here on DVinfo. I'm sure he can attest to the quality of it. It's been hardly used at all since leaving his capable hands.
How did it end up in your hands if you don't mind my asking? I sold it to Bruce Yarock on these boards and the last I knew he was still trying to sell it. If it is the one that I had "just 3 months ago" it is in great shape.
Ken Grohs February 22nd, 2007, 11:59 AM How did it end up in your hands if you don't mind my asking? I sold it to Bruce Yarock on these boards and the last I knew he was still trying to sell it. If it is the one that I had "just 3 months ago" it is in great shape.
Yep, Marty, I got this from Bruce about a month-and-a-half ago. It's the one you had. Still in absolutely perfect shape!
Thanks for being so particular about your equipment! It was nice to get this in the shape I did.

Jason Fox February 23rd, 2007, 06:47 AM Sold. These words added to meet the 10 character minimum.
Jason Fox February 23rd, 2007, 08:03 AM Selling my EngRig Support -- it is in like-new condition. This includes the part that attaches to your rods, the spring-loaded support rod and the belt with a pouch for the support rod.
See it here: http://www.dvtec.tv/id2.html (the rods/plate are not included)
I originally bought it use with my M2-equipped DVX long before Danny came out with the MultiRig. It works well if you have a shoulder mount or if your rods are long enough to rest on your shoulder (which is what I did).
Retails for $300. Asking $200 shipped (to US) OBO. PayPal preferred.
Thanks,
Fox

Patrick Moreau February 23rd, 2007, 08:28 AM I have two adapters that allow for about half of the zoom range. They are both nice and small and bayonet mount. I used both on my XL2 with great results. There is the centruy .6x wide angle and the century 0.3x fisheye.
I would like $400 US for the pair, including shipping within CONUSA or Canada, which is cheaper than the cost of the cheaper of the two lenses by themselves. If you wouldlike just one lens, send me an offer, but I would prefer to package them.
Patrick
Patrick Moreau February 23rd, 2007, 09:52 AM Long story but I sold an XL2 package on ebay. Seller asked me to cover quicker shipping which I agreed to do at my cost but I couldn't include the box as it would have incresed shipping too much. Th box is now gone and he is complaining, and quite often. I need to find somebody who has an XL2 box who would sell it ot me and ship it directly to the fellow who purchased my XL2 (who lives in the US). I can pay for the box and shipping costs via paypal.
I hope somebody can help.
Thanks
Patrick
Bob Zimmerman February 23rd, 2007, 11:34 AM You should always keep your camera boxes. I still have all my Nikon camera boxes even from stuff I bought back in the mid 80's. It is nice to sell or buy a camera with the box and manuals. They say they are worth more. Good luck
Steven Dempsey February 23rd, 2007, 12:06 PM Make me a reasonable offer (retail value of all of this is about $7500). My preference would be a bank wire or a check because Paypal eats my lunch with fees at this level. If you really want to do Paypal, then fine, let's talk:

Andrew Brinkhaus February 23rd, 2007, 07:37 PM Hey everyone. Selling my like new Canon XL2, switching back over to the DVX!
I received the camera brand new in July, and have been using it off and on since. The camera body and lens are in great shape, and the camera probably has a total of 30 or so hours on the heads. The viewfinder still works perfectly, and the opening clip has no problems.
Overall, this camera boasts some great features the DVX cannot. Its native 16:9 and interchangable lenses make it worth it on its own, especially for long lens applications such as wildlife filmmaking, and sports events.
On the other hand, its true 24p makes it a great camera for indie-filmmaking, tv, etc + its use of 2 balanced XLR inputs.
The camera sells new for $3,400.00...
I'm selling mine for $2,700.00 with complete camera, and all included accessories.
I am a verified paypal member, so feel free to use that application.
PM me or email me at drummerdude01@hotmail.com

Brian Doyle February 24th, 2007, 01:36 PM I didn't get your email. Sorry about that. Sometimes it doesn't go through on this site. I have a few questions about the lens. Sorry if these are basic questions but I don't use a lot of defferent lens, it's a little new to me.
What do you mean by the wide only does vignette in 4:3 mode. What is vignette? When you say it's fine on the XL1 when letterboxed do you mean shot with letterbox guides or with the streched mode ment to be pulled back out in post?
Do you have pics of both lens? I take it both work fine, that the dent on the adaptor doesn't effect the pic at all? Lastly I would like to talk on the phone before going ahead. Drop me a line.
