That's really cheap for this card, but I've got to sell it. Peter Richardson November 16th, 2007, 10:17 PM Hi guys, I've got a Red Camera coming in February and just got the OConnor 1030HD head and 35L sticks, so I'm selling my OConnor Ultimate DV head, tripod, and PortaBrace Shellpack case. Here are some pics: http://web.mac.com/peterdrichardson/iWeb/Peter%27s%20Around%20the%20World%20Trip/OConnor%20Ultimate%20DV.html The Ultimate DV head is two years old, in excellent condition, with just minor cosmetic wear (you can see in pics). This is truly a full-featured OConnor fluid head. It looks like a miniature 2575. The head is rated to balance up to 18lbs and has continuously variable counterbalance and pan and tilt drag. It is a remarkable head and, when I purchased it, the best available for DV-sized camera. Unfortunately, OConnor no longer makes this head (the smallest head is now the 1030HD). It is therefore fairly rare. Equivalent heads to compare to are: Sachtler DV8-SB/100 ($2300 head only) and Cartoni Laser ($2100 head only), though I personally feel that the OConnor is superior to both. OConnor provides excellent support to their customers. I've lost a couple screws for the quick release plate, but a quick call to OConnor and new ones are in the mail, free of charge. The head is built like a tank and will last a long time. Also included in this package are the OConnor sticks I bought with the head, which are spreaderless and have a fantastic range, from very low to the ground to very high. They are very lightweight and are perfect for documentary or ENG-EFP work. Lastly, I am selling the Porta Brace Shellpack that fits all this gear. The Shellpack has been great and has really protected everything well. It has a few minor cosmetic blemishes (wear on the zipper, some stitching) but that's about it. New all this gear runs about $4k, but I am selling for $3000, or best offer. Please email me at peterdrichardson at mac dot com with any questions. Buyer will pay shipping of their choice from Oregon. Thanks! Peter Ryan Reyes November 17th, 2007, 12:12 AM Item has been sold, thanks everyone. Scott Shama November 17th, 2007, 01:31 AM why are you selling it? Thanks, Scott Bill Rankin November 17th, 2007, 10:21 AM still for sale Paul Leung November 17th, 2007, 10:50 AM Just not my style of filming and I am using a tripod more and more. Dan Gonzales November 17th, 2007, 01:51 PM Camera works good. Only problem is the ac adapter on the bottom doesn't work. Includes camera, lens hood and cap, eye piece, battery charger, 4 batterys, remote control, wide angle lens with a scratch and the original owners manual. $400, will go on ebay Sunday at 5:00pm so act before then. Thanks, Tom Drop me an email at tom@tomchaney.com Toby Bates November 17th, 2007, 07:46 PM Sent you an Email Stuart. Dave Stewart November 18th, 2007, 01:31 AM still available? Paul Cronin November 18th, 2007, 09:16 AM Chris I responded to your email. Glen Elliott November 18th, 2007, 01:11 PM Yes, still available. Paul Cronin November 18th, 2007, 01:59 PM Ram is sold. Dave Stewart November 18th, 2007, 08:00 PM What are you selling it with? Batteries, wide angle, all the standard stuff that came with it, etc? I could use another one of these babies for a wedding I'm doing New Years Eve. How do you want to be paid? Throw in shipping? This is still a great camera. Low light just can't be beat. Dave Michael Galvan November 19th, 2007, 01:56 AM I'm kinda bummed here ... so I just bought this Brevis adapter the other day and have now found out that the production I was going to use it on has been postponed. Seeing how I can't return it to Cinevate, I want to know if anyone here is interested in it. It is the Pre-Flip bundle which sells for $1,286.01 on their website. I guess I can sell for a $1000 if anyone is interested. Might I add that this system is absolutely brand new. It comes with: Brevis35 Imaging adapter (Nikon mount) 72mm HD acromat Brevis Rails Mount Rails system CineFuse 1L Pelican Case Reservation for Flip Module which comes out at the end of the month I would keep this system, but I plan on getting a P+S technik system. Please let me know if you are interested ... buy this adapter system new and save a couple hundred bucks. Thanks. Trent Eden Kelley November 19th, 2007, 11:41 AM The "GR-HD1" high-definition digital video camera is the first consumer digital video camera in the world to record and play back digital high-definition images. By utilizing a newly developed 1/3 inch-type 1.18 million pixel progressive scan CCD and JVC proprietary processing, the new camera records and plays back 750/30p (1280x720/30p viewable). The only problem with this camera, as with HD cameras, is the LUX. The JVC GR1 is somewhere around 35 LUX. Extra Batteries and protective lenses. $600 plus shipping anywhere in the world. Vince Halushka November 19th, 2007, 03:19 PM Quote from first post "If you do the math this is a very good deal. Im asking 3,590 for everything listed above. " Why the inflation?? Did you realize U could get more parting out? John Dewey November 19th, 2007, 04:19 PM bump - still looking Michael Stewart November 20th, 2007, 12:20 AM When I emailed you the at897 was not available, now it is? probably should let them know you are not Paypal verified and that you just recently moved. You have conflicting stories and they continue to change, it makes it hard to trust you. What confusion on pricing? everyone can read, you seemed to be confused. At the bottom of your initial post it shows you edited it 5 hours later, although you have stated you could not edit the amount and that it was a mistake, appears very fishy. Anyway good luck on ebay. PS. To everyone here, the system works so well here because we keep each other informed, in many ways, purchasing here is far safer than ebay, because we do communicate our concerns. Cheers Mike Michael Stewart November 20th, 2007, 12:36 AM Just ordered my XH-A1 and now I am looking for a brevis for it. Thanks Mike Byron Huskey November 20th, 2007, 03:33 AM Hey all! I'm interested in getting a boom pole for my AT-897 (I think that's right) shotgun mic, and if you happen to have a decent xlr cable, I might be up for that as well (combined). Also looking to go in on a light kit with a friend. Can't afford most of the new ones, so the more used (but functioning) the better. Trent Humphrey November 20th, 2007, 07:42 AM PS. To everyone here, the system works so well here because we keep each other informed, in many ways, purchasing here is far safer than ebay, because we do communicate our concerns. Cheers Mike[/QUOTE] Mike, did you not say you are local? I would be glad to meet you and show you everything in person. However you never got back to me so I could only figure you were not intrested. This has been a difficult short process already and I can not control that I don’t bid through ebay that often and the fact that I am unverified on paypal is not a major concern to me since I rarely use it for ebay. Now if you would like to meet in person please let me know, otherwise stop criticizing the way I post what I am trying to sell. I want to sell the camera by itself if possible first and then I will part everything out. However if anyone is intrested in all that is listed that is the price. Thanks Trent Michael Stewart November 20th, 2007, 07:54 AM You are confusing me with someone else, I am not local. As far as "getting back with you"....... I finally had to email you to let you know I had another seller, because you did not "get back with me", until I told you, of course, I had another seller, then I received a reply. The only way I would purchase from you is if it were local pickup. As far as ebay verification, it has more to do with the buyer being concerned, more than you not being concerned whether you are. If you are not verified, that means you could be living out of a box and when someone contacts paypal saying they never received there item and want to track you down, they (paypal) has no clue. You did say you moved? this makes the point perfectly. You state in your last post to me that "you want to sell the camera by itself first and then will part everything out".Why is that nowhere in any of your posts you state this?, do you even know what you want? Mike David Chia November 20th, 2007, 09:15 AM still looking Sean Seah November 20th, 2007, 10:13 AM Look at the thread from Galvan in the Classifieds.. great deal! I tested the brevis with A1, fits like a glove n works well, esp 24F Glen Elliott November 20th, 2007, 10:16 AM My appologies- yes it comes with remote, battery, carring strap, charger, and users manual. I'd be willing to split shipping with you if your interested. I agree, there is no cam at this price point that can compare with its 1 lux light sensitivity. Let me know at your earliest convenience. |
