I know this may sound a little over the edge for someone like me. I am currently a high school student, but I have ideas and dreams of starting a studio one day. And thinking about that, I think I can do it at this age, starting off small. Currently with a GL2, Final Cut Pro, my Macs, with some other things in the future, I am thinking about Stock media or footage. This will be a learning, and traveling experience in taking shots in naure and other places. I would love any suggestions, I am planning to start a website devoted to video/film work. I know can produce a very small semi-professional piece work, but nothing big. I have that feel for a film or a video, but it is hard when organizing ideas can seem like a huge task. I also understand the money that can be involved in something like this. Again, any comments and/or suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks guys!

I noticed you're going to be at MacWorld -- drop by the Canon booth and ask for me, I'd like to meet you.

Speaking from experience, starting a studio from scratch is all about two very important things: 1.) running a business as a business should be run, and 2.) location of the business, in relation to who your intended customers are.

I'm on the road and can't write much at the moment. Drop by at MacWorld and let's talk. Hope this helps,
