Hi guys and gals, New stuff on the way for the HD-100.
Quoting Highway Magazine:
"The choice of 1/3" bayonet mount lenses for ProHD camcorders is set to go from two, as at its recent launch, to six by half way through 2006.
Fujinons new 12x and 17x lenses, complementing their existing 16x and 13x, will be available in very early 2006, with Canon introducing their first ever
1/3" bayonet mount in the spring of 2006. Later on in the year Fujinon will launch their fifth 1/3" lens which will be 18x. In summary; six dedicated 1/3" professional zoom lenses, two 1/3" lens adaptors for existing 1/2" and 2/3" lenses, a Nikon 35mm SLR lens adaptor and the Mini35 Adaptor enabling use of 35mm film lenses.
JVC set out to provide video professionals with a professional look and feel to their ProHD equipment. JVC welcomes the speed with which their ProHD concept has been accepted by the market, not just by the video professionals but by the lens and equipment manufacturers. ProHD, the choice just goes on getting wider. Vote of confidence from Fujinon and Canon"
