Anyone up for a quick answer?

I've read and experimented with all the best ways to Export widescreen DVD's.

However I want to dummyproof a DVD for my clients big board meeting. It will be shown on a 720x480 projector. There setup (by default) will squeeze the picture instead of letterboxing it or cutting off the edges.

So I want to letterbox it myself so it doesn't look distorted.

Have to have the DVD to fedex in 2 hours (6pm Eastern Time)

I have had luck with importing a WMV into PowerPoint.
Be sure to make the background black.
Hopefully the machine connected to the projector is fast enough.

Export to CineForm at 720x480 (NTSC) but use a 0.9 pixel aspect ratio. That will letterbox your output within a 4x3 frame. Make sure you are running Aspecrt HD 3.4 Build 45, there was a small fix that could image this workflow.

I had to produce a 4x3 encoded letterboxed DVD for a projection need, the above is how I did it.

Thans guys.
David, I can't find the dialouge that tells me what build I'm running. If I don't have that build is it safe to update mid-project?

No danger in updating, particularly from build 43 or 44 to 45 (only one component is different.) The build number is written on the splash screen of HDLink.

Hi David,

I'm running Build 35. How do I update it?
