I've noticed a strange thing.
The LCD of my Z1 when fliped to the front, inverts the image ONLY in Vertical. Not on the Horizontal.

Here is a photo taken with my mobile to show the situation:

If I rotate it faces down and restore it to the original position -as described on the manual page 16 (Step 4 Tip)- the image is ok.

If I apply an iman the image is also correctly inverted.
ONLY if I turn the LCD to the front (set) the image is "half turned".

Is this normal on this camera ?
Or is my camera broken ?

Thanks in advance
Carlos Manuel

Hi there,

IT's normal, I just checked my FX1, same deal. My GL2 also is the same. Nothing to worry about in my opinion. Video will not be affected in any way.

It's for self-shooting, so it acts like a mirror - much easier to line yourself up than looking at a correct camera image. Try it some time and you'll see what I mean. We're all used to seeing ouselves in mirrors after all - except for vampires of course...

Thanks for your answers.

I've never shooted myself - I'm an UGLY guy...

Maybe it's suposed for me to know this, but I don't know ALL.
Still learning.

I can understand the concept of the mirror. It's logic.

I've "discoverd" this, searching for the place to put the iman to invert the image, dreamming with a Guerilla35.

BTW. what do you think about the Cinemek G35 / RedRock Micro35 ?

Thank you
Carlos Manuel
