I'm a computer tech here on the NC Outer Banks. I've been wanting a video camera for years and finally decided to go for it this year. The final motivation was wanting to shoot video of my friends kite-boarding and windsurfing. (and hopefully get someone to shoot me occasionally!) My end goal is to make end good quality CD's with short clips and vids that I can give out to the guys.

I have a Sony TRV 740 and Premiere 6.0 with a capture card. Debating now on purchasing a Sony GV-D200 deck or maybe springing for something better.

Thanks again for a great site, to all those that have contributed posts,, and those that make it possible. Next time I post, I'll be relating my ordeal of getting a bug worked out on my machine. Hopefully it will help someone.
