A WhitePaint <R> example. WhitePaint <R> has the effect of white balancing against a warm card. The method is to white balance the camera and then selectively set the warmth (or pull the warmth out) of the resulting scene using the WhitePaint <R> menu setting. There is also WhitePaint <B> which does the same thing as white balancing against a cool card. WhitePaint settings adjust the overall look of the scene as opposed to the Gain and Rotation settings which will adjust CMYRGB somewhat individually.
