Just thought I'd take a poll and see how many of us went out and did some boxing day shopping for electronics.

OK, who is guilty? Besides me? :) (didn't get anything though).

Despite clear, crisp weather I stayed far away from stores today. Thankfully, there are no stores in my immediate vicinity that sell any video gear. Otherwise my story might have been different. If B&H ever opens a downtown Chicago store I'm moving to Montana.

Don't go to Montana. That's where John Locke and I are retiring. We'll get you into trouble.

I haven't had time to do any shopping. For some unexplained reason I have numerous guests in December, January and February. There should be some good sales on computer related items. Sales were slightly better than forecast but not at all what the industry had hoped for.

I just went back to AR to visit family. My brother lives on a nice beautiful horse ranch out in the middle of nowhere west of Fayetville. I want to move in about 10 miles down the road. The local phone company just started providing ADSL.
40 acres wooded for less than 2K an acre. I'm sorely tempted. I could sell my house here in FL and with the profit buy the place for cash.
