When I try to export an cineform avi from aftereffects 6.0 (AHD worstation) in the ae outputsetting I only find the cineform codec v2.3 (under windows avi). I don´t have the possibility to choose medium or high. As mentioned in the manual I should have an extra codec Cineform Avi.
How to bring ´em to aftereffects?

(updated AHD 3.4).

Although we have have only tested with AE 6.5 it should be there. Instead of selecting the "Video for Window" mode you should see "CineForm AVI" in the same list (under http://www.cineform.com/downloads/OutputModuleSettings.png.) Then click on "Format Options" to set the quality.

David, this is exactly what I´m missing. I´m waiting for AE7 for next upgrade.
So to which version of codec is the rendering, if I render to Codec v2.3:
-Adobe HDV
-CFHD small
-CFHD medium
-CFHD large
I notice a small quality degredation of the rendered footage.

thank you

If you are missing the plug-in you only get CFHD Medium. The plugin should be located here ...\After Effects...\Support Files\Plug-ins\. Check for the CFHDIO.aex file.
