I am watching hd footage i shot on an ntsc monitor but I cant get it to display 16:9. it is stretched to 4:3. is there a menu setting I miissed. thanks

Welcome to DV Info Net, Andrew. Sorry but you'll need a 16:9 monitor to view your video, or a 4:3 monitor that adds the neccessary letterbox matte for 16:9. There is no setting for this in the XL H1 itself.
