What's missing is IBM lost Apple because they did not make a mobile G5.

Actually, no, the truth is this...Apple can't sell enough G5 chips to justify the Fishkill, NY plant. But, as it turns out, IBM is making tons of money from the video gaming consoles (Xbox 360, new Nintendo, Playstation 3, etc.). So, Apple left to Intel (wish it was AMD).
