What's is a decent/good mic to mound on GS 400? Thanks. If possible, please give link.

Seems to me that the Rode Videomic is very highly rated. I think it's a bit too ostenatious for my personal requirements, but if I were doing stuff where blending into the crowd was not a benefit, then I'd get one.

Sennheiser Shotgun Mics are also very good, I have had alot of experience with the ME66 model, even though its very expensive, the cheaper ones are very well performing also.

The RODE videomic is one of the best price/performance mics out there. It has similar qualities to the more expensive RODE NTG1 and NTG2 shotgun mics. Best of all, it's self powered with a shockmount and will flow with your camera easily.

I think the RODE is a mono mic.
Dont I need a stereo one for the 250 and 400 ???

Na, you don't need a stereo mic. And if you're on a budget, you'll get a better mic if buy only one mic element (as in a mono mic) rather than spread your money over two mic elements (as in a stereo mic).
