Hi,
We just finished a piece that was acquired by a smaller network (satelite only) They want the piece delivered in 4:3 aspect. We shot the piece in HDV 16:9 and edited it with Premiere Pro, 1080 60i 16:9 using the Cineform Apsect AD intermediery. (By the way, Cineform makes it really easy, great product.) After we finished, we sold the piece and found out they wanted it in 4:3 aspect.
In order to change the aspect We opened a new project in Premiere Pro, picking 1080i 4:3 aspect and then imported the project into this new format. After that, we adjusted a few portions where our framing was outside of the area. This is very easy in Premiere.
My question is: The Network has requested the piece to be delivered NTSC Beta or Digabeta, 4:3
After some communicating with the director of program acquisitions, she said they would also take it 1080i in a 4:3 aspect. Can I export my timeline back to my Z1U in 1080i 4:3. I am unsure whether the camera supports that format.
Otherwise, I will need to export the 4:3 master to a DigiBeta deck, via analog outputs from a video card.
Can anyone that has dealt with this issue make some suggestions?
Thanks,
