Hi All

I've been using a Canon XL 1 for about a year and editing with Canopus Edius. I have been capturing using a fire wire and it's been great - No Problems there.....

However,

I recently bought a Canon XL2 and connected it to the edit suite - The problem is that it's not capturing the sound.
While I am down loading I can hear the sound through my PC Speakers but the PC won't capture the audio track

The same DV Tape in the XL1 is captured perfectly.

Any ideas please ?!

Hi Adrian, Welcome to DV Info Net.

Your question doesn't really relate to the XL2. It's more of a Canopus Edius question. We don't have a dedicated forum for Canopus on this site, because Canopus has their own message board which is very popular and very helpful. Somebody here might have a suggestion for you, but you might want to check the Canopus boards as well. The link is www.canopus.com and click on "forums."
