Where are you observing this: on the actual footage or just in the viewfinder/lcd? How long have you had the camera?

on lcd, and a week today. i know its not on the ccd but it is really noticeable, and im just wondering if it could happen so soon, will it get worse?

In all likelihood it was always there as a manufacturing defect in the lcd panel. It's not an organic problem and will not "get worse". Canon service is your recourse if you really can't live with it. (Personally, I'd recommend ignoring it.)

i plan to ignore it, i just didn't know what to think, ive never had one before with my gl1 and was kinda scared because of all the hot pixel talk, i have a short that i have to film over the next month so i won't have the time to send it in... though maybe i should in regards with my last post.
thanks Ken.
