I need a mount for the end of a 35mm adapter so I can switch out my Canon FD lenses. Most people here said they made theirs with parts from an old/broken camera. Is there any place I can buy a mount like this? Otherwise I guess I need to find a broken Canon and tear it apart. Thanks.

Maybe something like this may work?

I`am using EOS EF mount extension tubes in my 35mm adapter (for lens mount and housing )...

Maybe you can use cheap Canon FD extension tubes from e-bay?

Wayne,

That T-mount (and most T-mounts) is the wrong way around. Most T-mount adaptors are for connecting T-mount lenses to other camera system bodies. What he needs is a "reverse T-mount," and those are few and far between.

They are rare, but here is one (http://www.colescameras.com/canon.htm). Of course, then you have a T-mount to deal with, and additional adaptors to get that on normal filter threads, or otherwise connect it to your adaptor.

Do you happen to have a link to one of these for sale? I'm still a bit confused as to what will work as it appears most of them are the reverse of what I need.

Luke,

I was in the same situation a few weeks back and bought a used, cheap Canon FD compatible teleconverter from www.keh.com. These teleconverters have both the male and female mounts. I just unscrewed the male part and screwed/glued it to my ABS fitting.

Here is the page for these teleconverters.

I paid $4 + shipping for mine. Just make sure you get an FD compatible tele.

So this is all I would need then?

Yes, it looks like it. The description says FD and the mounting ring itself looks exactly like an FD mount, at least like the one I have.
