Hello everyone, my name is Alonzo Anderson. I am 34 years old and live in Macon, Ga. I am a claims supervisor with Geico Direct. I found this site while looking at the Canon XL1. My interest in the Canon stems from the fact that I am a Writer/Director and I am currently in pre-production on a short film that I will shoot entitled "Rain". I will shoot it as a short for release on the indie circuit, however, I will also shoot it at feature length. I am currently holding auditions and nearing completion with the casting. I am in search of someone with the XL1 in the local area or Atlanta who would be interested in joining the crew and handling the DP duties.
I am a big, big movie fan and attended some film courses in the late 80's early 90's while in the Air Force, it was always my dream to write and direct and now more than 10 years later I have finally begun this trek and I am in it for the long haul. My production company will be called Shogun Films. My favorite directors are Scorcese, Stone, Tarantino and Spike Lee, also, I am really liking Brett Ratner and Chris Nolan right now. My favorite films are Gone With The Wind, The Magnificent 7, JFK, The Godfather, Goodfellas, Godfather2, and Pulp Fiction.
Anyways, I would appreciate it if someone out there in my area would like to take part in the production, filming is scheduled to begin on Jan 13 in downtown Macon, please contact me if you are interested.
