Hi All,
I'm thinking of using the giant squid iriver setup to reocrd audio for the actors, the main reason being that the actors will be less conscious and more mobile when there is no soundman following them around and attracting unwanted attention.
1
will the giant squid be able to work as a body worn lavalier mic? I have no experience working with lavaliers and i'm wondering if the giant squid will be particularly susceptible to clothing noise or is this issue more a matter of correct placement of the mics.
2
if the giant squid suits my purposes, EXACTLY which model would you recommend? Omnidirectional or Cardiod and Stereo or Mono?
3
can the iriver be substituted with any mp3 player that has a record function and line-in connection?
please be patient if my questions expose my inexperience.
And thanks in advance!
