AHD Color Corrector effect was applied to a clip on PPro 1.5 timeline.

Underneath that clip there happened to be another clip, which therefore was not visible, at 50% the length of the one on top.

On Render to AND AVI, the clip on top changed its color visibly between the first half and the second half, exactly at the point where the underlying clip ended.

So it seems like AHD Color Corrector is affected by underlying clips??

Is it a known AHD Color Corrector issue?

Thanks.

Unlikely, as Premiere is doing the render and the Color correction filter are standard Premiere plug-ins. Premiere filters are not aware of layers, Premiere handles the sequence and layering for such renders. Sometimes the opacity or motion appears to be off but there are undergoing a very small effect. Maybe that happened.

Nope, opacity was my first suspect but it's 100% throughout the top clip.

Removing the underlying clip fixes the problem.

Weird.

I have to mention that there's 2 effects on the top layer: AHD Color Corrector, and PPro's Levels.

I haven't the time to test which one produces the problem, but since it manifests itself as COLOR change, Levels effect is probably not a suspect.
