Based on researching the internet and this forum, am I correct in my assumption that the Audio Technica ATW101 series system is the only sub-$500 wireless system that has XLR outputs? It appears that both the Sony EWP-C1 and the Sennheiser Evolution G2 series each have 1/8" mini and not XLR output. Is that correct? Any other systems that you can reccommend that have XLR output?

Should check the classifieds section. Just sold mine 5 minutes ago for 250. It is a nice system that uses XLR. There are others out there just like it. Especially on ebay.

GOOD LUCK!

Thanks James! I'll check it out. Hate that I missed yours.

I did find a site that stated that the Sennheiser ships with both mini and XLR outputs. Thanks for the info!

senny g2 allows you to have both mini and XLR outputs. Great feature, very handy as to what your recorder is, a camera or mixer or minidisc etc! Get it,y ou won't regret it!

Most importantly, Senn evo series are balanced output on the "stereo" mini. I suppose we should call it a 3.5mm TRS. Senn supplies the correct short cable to go from this to the xlr input of your recording device, as well as a mini cable for unbalanced mini camera inputs.

I just tried an ATW-U101 and found the audio quality to be on par with Lectrosonic units that cost a whole lot more.
