Ive been holding out on a still for a while now... but i just had word that a 30d is in the pipeline..

any ideas on this unit?

I own a 20D, and so also follow Canon's still-photography market. I would suggest looking at http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/ for more information on a possible 30D. This is mainly a video forum, so you will probably find more interest and answers over at that forum. (It is a great forum too; the equal of this one in the still photography world!)

It ain't equal to this one, it's way beyond us! They have nearly 1 million posts there.

ah, it's all in how you measure it, chris. this site has such better quality!! and way more unique experimentation with pushing the limits on visual images. i know this, because i was just there researching lenses. which, incidentally, is better done at fredmiranda.com than the official canon site.....the size notwithstanding, your site is a lot more fun and cutting-edge.

(now if only i could arm-twist you into adding that wildlife forum!)
