On Wednesday, San Diego-based start-up Veoh will announce plans to offer 3,000 different video shows for download for free. Mostly in the public domain, they include shorts of The Three Stooges and Superman and Batman cartoons from the 1930s.

Interesting Boyd - I just gota video iPod for my daughter's birthday and set it up for her (and had a little play!) Encoding video for it is simple ( I use cleaner XL) and the quality of the screen is very good. Add to that a 30Gb Hard Drive and it looks to be a winner for about GBP200 (I guess it's less in the States...
I'm now trying to think of a suitable business opening offering clients their programmes on iPod...

Any ideas?
