In this website you can download the same 720p videos shot in all those formats.
But when i was watching the varicam video, i though: the DOF here is very low for a 2/3" camera.
Then i looked the HDcam, which should look the same. ANd it does look like a 2/3" camera.
So... did they use a pro35 on the varicam and they are not telling it?

The 16mm footage is awesome. I had never seen 16mm footage that looked so well. It is not much worse than any standard 35mm film!

Quite strange. There are shots where the HCAM has less DOF than others, other shots where the varicam is the one with shorter DOF, other ones where the 16mm is...

They had to be swaping the pro35 during takes...

DOF is a function of aperture as well as "film back" size.
It could be that this was adjusted from shot-to-shot.

This is a great comparison. The Varicam and the HDcam look softer than the 16mm, while the 16mm is shaper, it has more noise in the picture. The HDcam and the Varicam also seem to have a shallower DOF in some shots. Only looked at it quickly though. But still its a great comparison.

In the 670MB big file the show A/B comparisons of all Formats and provide information about the lenses used. It's in german but they have subtitles for the lenses used. According to that they used the P+S Technik Pro35 Adapter with the HDCams (but probably not in every shot, it's a little unprecise).
