Hi,
I just got a second HD - a Seagate 160gb 7200. Ive installed it as the slave. I want to use this for my video editing as my other 60gb hard drive with the OS and programs is now almost full. With this new hard drive, my brother wants to put some of his files (videos and songs etc) on the new 160gb drive. I figured I could let him have a little bit ;) But I dont want things to get too congested, as the drive is intended to be primarily for video editing. Presently I have partitioned it into a 35gb NTFS partition for my brother and a 115gb Partition for my video. I know very little about partitioning, but is this ok? And is there any special way a drive dedicated for video editing (i.e no OS) should be partitioned?
Thanks for any help, Im a bit confused with all this :)
