Declan Smith November 18th, 2005, 05:59 PM Hi wayne
Where can I get more details on the SG25 & how do I order one ?
Thanks
Wayne Kinney November 18th, 2005, 06:10 PM Hello Declan,
Please send me an email and we can discuse further.
Greg Bates November 18th, 2005, 08:57 PM Looking very smooth Wayne, congrats!
Cody Dulock November 19th, 2005, 07:50 AM is it shot with available light from the lamp? i mean just incandescent lights around the house turned on?
looks good!
Yasser Kassana November 19th, 2005, 08:35 AM Seriously impressed. that was some clean footage. very crisp. And in low light! I couldn't see any grain, or aberration, but Mr.Kinney being a perfectionist probably will. Nice one Quinn.
Wayne Kinney November 19th, 2005, 04:19 PM Thanks for your comments guys.
Kurt August November 19th, 2005, 06:15 PM Wayne, the image looks sharp. But have you any idea where the blue comes from, when there are bright reflections? Doesn't it bother you a bit? Much of the footage I've seen with your adapter has it, or is it because it's a 1ccd camera?

It's a detail from the lamp.
All in all, very nicely done!
Wayne Kinney November 19th, 2005, 06:27 PM Kurt,
Yes, that is a slight bit of colour abberation going on there, due to the condenser system used. It becomes apparent on over exposed area's of the frame. All is well with well exposed shots.
Wayne Kinney November 21st, 2005, 06:59 PM OK,
We should have some HD100 footage and pictures up on thursday/friday if all goes well.
I have also phoned a DVX100 user, that lives in the next town from me. Im hoping to meet up with him either at the end of this week or next week.
Will keep you all posted
Michael Maier November 22nd, 2005, 07:40 AM Awesome Wayne. Good to know you got a hold of a HD100 for tests, I've been waiting for that. What type of subjects are you shooting with it?
What ever happen to that FX1 test?
Wayne Kinney November 22nd, 2005, 08:01 AM Hello Micheal,
Its not actually me doing the HD100 tests, but my customer. I will keep you all informed of how that goes.
I did in fact meet with the FX-1 guy, but there was a problem with the baseplate on the day which needed some modifications so we could'nt get any good footage.
However, my friend is coming down with his z1 (just like fx-1) at the end of this month. We are planning on getting some great footage along Brighton beach.
I still need to find an XL user to test the SG35 with.
Michael Maier November 22nd, 2005, 08:27 AM So there are HD100 users who already bought the SG35? Why haven't they posted footage yet?
Where will the footage be filmed? Can we make requests?
Wayne Kinney November 22nd, 2005, 09:32 AM Micheal,
Yes i have HD100 customers. They are waiting on their DP for the nikon lenses. They will be shooting tests thursday. Im sure they will post here, and you can ask them for specific tests.

Wayne Kinney November 24th, 2005, 06:23 PM Thanks Yas,
Yas and myself will be meeting on the 3rd Dec to test out the Sony z1 (like FX-1) with SG35.
Declan Smith November 25th, 2005, 01:11 AM I still need to find an XL user to test the SG35 with.
