Is the $299 HD upgrade for the FS-4 software or hardware?

Software, a cd with a firmware upgrade on it.

Our company just purchased 2 FS-4 Pro units, one for our Z1U and the other for our XL-2. We are looking to add the new Canon HD camera to our inventory and are anxious to test wiht the FS-4Pro in HD mode. We've faxed our information to Focus for proof of purchase. I'm wondering how long to expect to wait until the HD upgrade arrives? Can it be accessed as a software upgrade (a link provided to a site)?

In SD mode, the FS-4Pro is working quite well on the Z1U. We have had a couple of issues with it functioning on the XL2, however. Specificaly, it won't record Quicktime 24p on the XL2. That, however, is a subject for a different forum.
