I would like to have a simple answer to my questions. Sometimes it gets too technical for me.

If my final product will be "VIDEO", not film. What should I do to make it look as filmic as possible.

A- In Final Cut Pro HD, what are the settings that I should use?
B- If I have a 24p timeline, am I ready?
C- Why do some people talk about using CinemaTools for pulldown removal?
D- If the final output is video, is there's a difference between a 24fps timeline and a 30fps timeline in terms of "filmic look" or image quality?
E- Is it really better to shoot in the "normal" 24p, rather than the "advanced" for video output?

Thanks,
EDWIN

I am a novice, but I hate to see your question go unanswered
Let me see if I can pass on some of the info I have gleaned here:

A- In Final Cut Pro HD, what are the settings that I should use?
--Select "HDV - Apple Intermediate Codec" as the default capture preset.
B- If I have a 24p timeline, am I ready?
-- for 24p at this point it seems you have to use something called LumierePro
C- Why do some people talk about using CinemaTools for pulldown removal?
-- Don't know
D- If the final output is video, is there's a difference between a 24fps timeline and a 30fps timeline in terms of "filmic look" or image quality?
-- I think you should stick to what you shot in, and it does make a difference...I think
E- Is it really better to shoot in the "normal" 24p, rather than the "advanced" for video output?
-- ??

Hope a few others will chime in, since there is a lot of talk about how we go about editing 24p (720 ) on a laptop with this camera
