Hi All,
I thought I should share my first attempt at shooting a music promo using the Z1 along with Redrock's M2 (with M2G), all shot within an hour (run-and-gun style), then sync'd and edited in PPro 1.5 yesterday (@ 8 hours of post).
(WMV 29MB)

The look I aimed for was to match colour reversal stock / 16mm footage - gain was needed for some of the shots and levels were tweaked in post hence the high 'grain' in some shots (PPro's Auto Level introduces a funky slow flicker/pulse which I normally wouldn't be happy with - but it seems to work in this situation).
Lenses used : 80-200/2.8, 17-35/2.8, 85/1.4 & 50/1.8
Now for your critique...
BTW the band is a local group based a few miles from me here on the South Coast, visit them here...
www.britonica.com (in case you missed the plug on the vid)
If you hunt their gallery enough you may find a few pics of me in action with my camera !
Thanks,
Dave.
