I filmed this video over several days at Cades Cove, Tennessee. Cades Cove has one of the highest densities of Black bears in the country. I videoed it on my Canon XF705 and edited in DaVinci Resolve. Enjoy.

Hi Bob,
Very nice film from you! You are lucky to have so much wildlife there. I hardly see anything in my area.
A good story, nice images, great timing, and a good variety of wildlife. Your film has it all.

Well done!

Trond, thank you. The best part is it is only a 4-hour drive from my house.

Another great entry from you Bob! Your beautifully pitched and paced narration gently takes us through your journey at a nice leisurely speed that in itself says - Slow down, visually take your surroundings and you will be rewarded. I have yet to see bears in the the wild you are so lucky to have them close by. Well done.

Great job Bob! But, you're too modest. You left out the Skill of your film-making with which you combined the Timing, Preparation and Luck to make such a well-done short video!

Nice video Bob, I felt like I was on the trip with you. The narration sure makes it more interesting than just slapping on some music (as I would do). It looks like a place I should try to visit someday.

The only thing that bothered me was the rough driving shots. You should think about getting a Cine Saddle and strapping it to the hood of your car. You'd be amazed what a difference it makes. I've had mine for about 23 years. It makes a good pillow too! :-)

Thank you all for your comments. Doug, I really don't video that much from a moving car, But I will look into the Cine Saddle. Sad that this will be my last entry. However, I will continue to post videos of my travels. Take care and stay safe, Bob

Bob, what do you mean, "last entry"?

I agree with the others about the car shots being too rough. I think even if you got a GoPro and left it mounted on the dash it would greatly improve the production quality.

Doug, over the last year or so very few people complete the challenges. Usually only one or two people will submit an entry. So, Trond decided that due to lack of interest this was our last challenge. I will miss it because it was a great way to challenge my imagination. However, I will continue to travel and make videos and post them. Stay safe, Bob
