This was a last-minute idea while on a trip to Broken Hill. I was going to add music but the silence and the sounds of the crows says a lot to me about the bush.

Steve, what an interesting video. It almost reminded me of some of the dry goalies in the southwestern United States. I can imagine the force of that river when it does finally get water in it. It would've been interesting to find out if there were any Old photographs of the river when it was flowing. The narration was really well done. Thank you for sharing that part of Australia with us. Hey, Paul.
You deliver an interesting film.
Do you use a drone to film the dried-up stream?
Great to see such dried up streams, something we do not have in Norway.
The rivers that have dried up in this country are due to hydropower development.
Your VO is excellent, and the soundtrack is good without music, as you say.
On the one hand I miss film clips of what makes the background sounds, on the other hand it keeps the excitement up and it sets my imagination in motion.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Paul,
You nailed the theme with your film! That creek really missed its right element. As mentioned, it would have been nice to include some old pictures or footage of the river when it had water, to compare.
Nice mix of high and low shots.
Good choice to leave out the music, and just have the original background noices.
Well done!

thx guys,
Geir - I did use the drone for all shots except the last one and you make a good point about cutaways of the crow making sounds - I should have grabbed some of those.
