Hi UWOL family,
It has been a challenging year for everyone this year, so I thought I would extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones during this special (and virtual) Holiday Season. From our home to yours, I sincerely hope this little video brings you some cheer.
Thank you Trond, for being a gracious host and permitting me to share this Season's Greetings with the UWOL forum. With you, UWOL # 11 applies all year around!
Sincerely,
Cat

Thank you, Catherine! A nice little video bringing happy tunes. Much appreciated after a year with one depressing corona news after another.
Hope everyone will have a nice holiday season with your family.
Ps, don't forget to sign up for the 56'challenge . You know you want to ;)

Thanks so much for the UWOL 56 invite Trond, and I would love to make an entry sometime in the new year.
For this challenge, I had a disastrous mishap with my camera, the day after shooting for this Season's Greetings card. I dropped it! Who does that??? So I'm afraid I'm camera-less for now. And to add to it, in October, my tripod broke a leg on a film shoot and my neighbor who is a machinist is trying to fix that now.
So these challenges are challenging enough with a camera and a tripod, much less without both!
Have fun, and when I have equipment again I'll check out the activity on this forum again.
Happy New Year!

Cat, so sorry to hear about your camcorder. Was that your XF-300? I hope you are able to either get it repaired or start looking for a replacement. We really miss your fun videos. Hope to see you in the spring, Take care, stay safe. Bob

What would I do without my UWOL friends???
I'll try and get the camera fixed. Until then, I will bask in your friendship and great videos!!
Season's Greetings and Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Cat
PS, yes, very sadly, Bob, it was my XF 300. I feel like I lost a part of my soul! A true tale of WOE for the UWOL Wonders and Woes thread! ;-)
Happy New Year friend. You bet, let's meet up in the spring. Hopefully I will have a camera by then!

Noooo, not the mighty XF300! You won the ultimate woe prize of the year! Please don't repeat.
Losing mine would be devastating for both the soul and everything else.
But now you have an excuse to put the new XF705 on Santa's list. :)
