Good morning, my old friends. I feel like citing a metaphorical Twilight Zone episode where Martin Sloan decides to visit his old neighborhood after being away for many years. It has been about ten years since I've contributed and it's nice to see how DV Info has evolved in the years I've been away. I look forward to contributing once again.

Hi Hugh! I mostly lurk around here these days, but post every now and then when a topic related to my antique gear comes up. :-)

I'm also in Southern New Jersey. Visit my site at boydsmaps.com for some unique maps while you're walking the distance!

Welcome back. Although it's interesting to note that the theme of that Twilight Zone episode is that you cannot go back, that you must remain in your own present.

Ten years? Thats abut the time I got started here with a new-to-me secondhand JVC HD7, my first digital cam. What a change from the 8mm days. Times, and things, have changed. It was a really nice beginner cam for the transition from SD to HD but used it more for 1440 due to file space limitations. Very reluctantly sold it a couple years ago for ... peanuts. It was a sad, sad day. And now there is 4K but I'm sticking with HD for most stuff due to file space again.

Anyway, so much for the good ol' days. it's always nice to have people around who have been there, done that!, and can share some lessons learned so welcome back ... again!

Hey Vince you are correct! You MUST be a "Zonie" like me (Star Trek fans are "Trekkies" and I consider myself a "Zonie"). However, despite the theme I will give it a try. I really loved that episode along with others such as "22," "Child Lost," "Living Doll" (Telly Savalas with hair!), "Back There," "Night of the Meek" and others I cannot recall.
